SKD CS-002-S Sci-Fi M4 Tracer Gel Blaster – Smoke Coloured

hey guys

just curious if anyone has tried one of these?

looking at getting one for the young fella

it says tracer but not sure if it just has the flame effect or if it shoots the flow gels

not a great deal of info on the listing and haven’t been able to find any videos on it or more information on any other listings online

cheers

My guess would be the reference to tracer is just the model designation… M4 Tracer. At that price I wouldn’t think it wouldn’t light up glow gels.

Being an SKD it’s probably running an early gen gearbox, like pre-Gen 8 and probably is a little slow, anemic and underpowered. But who knows? Might be alright.

If I was buying a blaster for a young fella I’d pick up one of these…

Solid little SMG, around 200FPS, nylon not ABS like the SKD, crisp gearbox with semi and full auto, mags readily available and same price. :man_shrugging:

Same gearbox that went into BME’s Uzi.

apparently it has a gen 8 in it.

I did look at that mp9 but I’m looking for something I can put either tracer mags or a tracer attachment on the end of the barrel

I dunno. I’m a bit finicky when it comes to making purchases lol

found this eBay listing which strongly suggests it shoots glow gels

Best bet would be to call X-Force and ask the question.

If it is a Gen 8 box and it does light up glow gels it’s worth the bucks, ABS or not. :+1:

Give 'em a bell, let us know what you find out. :man_shrugging:

There you go…

I think.if it had a built in tracer unit Vas would have spruked it up… unless the smoke version is different. :man_shrugging:

yeah I watched that video but there’s no mention of it being a glow tracer

interestingly, there’s two versions

one says tracer, the other doesn’t, the one that doesn’t is more expensive :flushed:

I’ll flick them a message later and see what they say but by the way they’re listed and labelled it definitely gives the impression it would shoot glow gels

Vas rates the Sirius as a better blaster, but it is dearer at $164… nylon build though so I guess that’s why. Personally I think the SKD looks better anyway, and should take Gen 8 mags.

It’s got more of a “Romulus” vibe about it.

I spy with my lilttle eye… off/on switch, must be for lighting the mag up I would think.

good eye…

never received a reply from my enquiry online through their messaging system

might be a dumb question, but when the info’s not clearly provided on the listing,

you can only expect the question

even friendly thought it may not have been for glows

Not sure on this model, but have seen a similar skd that looks like it would be a gen8 style box, but actually house a gearbox very similar to the skd cs-007 hopper fed pistol.

Give them a ring would be best. Be even nicer if they read this and replied.

I’d say it’s a case of “it’s in the title, is this guy for real?”

title, yes

description, no

it does seem highly likely it does charge the glow gels given the switch you pointed out earlier, but the devils in the details and the details just aren’t there on the listing.

@Maiphut nice pick up, eagle eye…

If it lights up it’s a good thing… even better if it’s Gen 8 compatible and Vas is stocking spare drum mags.

Tracer drum mag for my SCAR V2! :joy:

hence why more details in the description would go a long way

unfortunately it doesn’t look like they carry spare drum mags for the skd cs-002 s SciFi m4 tracer so if it is compatible you’d have to buy the cs-002 s tracer just for the mag, however I’m sure if it didn’t quite fit you blokes could surely make it fit

True, but I wouldn’t want to spend $120 on a tracer drum mag.

It’d be cheaper to just wire up a Gen 8 mag with UV LEDs. :+1:

when you have the knowledge and skill to DIY yeah  lol

although I highly doubt you’d let the rest of the blaster goto waste
