My guess would be the reference to tracer is just the model designation… M4 Tracer. At that price I wouldn’t think it wouldn’t light up glow gels.
Being an SKD it’s probably running an early gen gearbox, like pre-Gen 8 and probably is a little slow, anemic and underpowered. But who knows? Might be alright.
If I was buying a blaster for a young fella I’d pick up one of these…
one says tracer, the other doesn’t, the one that doesn’t is more expensive
I’ll flick them a message later and see what they say but by the way they’re listed and labelled it definitely gives the impression it would shoot glow gels
Vas rates the Sirius as a better blaster, but it is dearer at $164… nylon build though so I guess that’s why. Personally I think the SKD looks better anyway, and should take Gen 8 mags.
Not sure on this model, but have seen a similar skd that looks like it would be a gen8 style box, but actually house a gearbox very similar to the skd cs-007 hopper fed pistol.
I’d say it’s a case of “it’s in the title, is this guy for real?”
title, yes
description, no
it does seem highly likely it does charge the glow gels given the switch you pointed out earlier, but the devils in the details and the details just aren’t there on the listing.
hence why more details in the description would go a long way
unfortunately it doesn’t look like they carry spare drum mags for the skd cs-002 s SciFi m4 tracer so if it is compatible you’d have to buy the cs-002 s tracer just for the mag, however I’m sure if it didn’t quite fit you blokes could surely make it fit
