thanks for the detailed trouble shooting method, I did think to try submerging it to see exactly where the mag is leaking but wasn’t sure how good it would be to do being made of metal.
it’s definitely the magazine as it’s leaking immediately whilst filling the mag, I’ll do some more trouble shooting to confirm exactly where the leak is coming from and post my results.
Vipertac’s website lists these DB Taurus specific replacement mag valves…
Nil stock anyway even though they’re showing stock but the staff told me they were the same valves that the DB Glocks use. Why would they be listed as Taurus specific if all the DB mags were the same?
Methinks it might be a case of "I don’t really know WTF’s going on, I just work here. "
hey guys, any idea which one of these would suit the Kublai P4 magazine?
the tool I used was from a mini screwdriver/hex key set that had an attachment for near identical to the end of the magazine tool but I think it was a little too small for it and has chewed the thread a bit.
looking at getting a proper mag Valve key so I can swap out the inlet valve as well as a replacement valve
I’d tend towards type B 2nd down, can’t be the last long boi. Either A or B. That sucks the shop can’t help with simple advice. I’ll probably get crucified next how wrong I am
Same length, same angulations, accessory rails slots incorporated underneath, and a form of sustenence, while battling the undead…!!
But, is the bar laced with zombrex, to further spread the infection.?.?!
Sell the kit-kat bars, sell more umbrella ammo, and then sell the cure…!!
Its time for a bamboozled bazza, to bang out and bust a burton burger, into the bowels of kit-kats biohazard branch, to breach the borders of, before-lunch snack biological betrayl…!!
I think you might have popped a few too many zombrex mate @BME
fuck, I haven’t played that game in ages, dead rising was pretty dope
I haven’t taken the whole valve inlet out yet so I don’t know how long it is and without the proper valve key I’m just Gunna end up fucking it up altogether, it’s currently packed away at the new place n I’m at the old place cuz the useless energy provider hasn’t hooked the fkn power up yet
was just hoping someone here may have known so I could order the replacement and get the gel ball rolling
but I know what you’re saying oh mighty patronising one
I did one better and got home made Rocky Road from my mates kids for fathers day. Apparently I’m special So good young humans thay are, unlike all you Jokes and pun intended
nope didn’t come with one, none of my gbb pistols or my mp5k came with a valve tool… cheers dude for the link but Gunna go the poor man’s route and get one off temu or something, most places I checked are sold out of Valve tools or want over the top prices, but I’ll peep the link in case I change my mind and want it sooner than later… still dickin around finishing moving
I just fixed the leaking Double Bell Beretta 92 mag…
Put in a new set of valves from my mate Brent up the road at OzGel, filled the mag and still leaking like a seive, so could really onlynbe one other thing.
Pulled the two pins holding the mag base on, tossed the factory o ring and found a thicker one in my kit of new o rings. The base was so tight with the fatter o ring I had to compress the base into the mag body in a vice to get the pins in. Zero leaks now.
And that’s why DB Beretta mags leak, the factory o ring seal isn’t sized correctly for the the pin position. The o ring in the base isn’t compressed enough to seal on assembly. A thicker o ring solves that factory fault.
Looking at the mag apart, I thought that if changing the o ring wasn’t a successful fix, I was going to degrease everything and then run a bead of epoxy over the old o ring and reassemble.
You might struggle to get it apart again (something you don’t really need to do except to service that seal anyway), but I guarantee it wouldn’t ever leak again.
