well, my main daily watch is a fairly meek Rip curl Detroit automatic.
that’s the one that you guys would all recognise from the toob toobs.
I originally loved it because of my love of mechanical things. the gears and mechanism appealed to me.

Sorry… but in my opinion anybody, regardless of disposable income, that spends $200K on a friggin’ wristwratch is either brain addled from syphilis or a complete wanker.
Why? Cos all they’re really doing is padding their ego by putting out to everyone else how affluent they are. 
But that’s just my opinion and I certainly don’t dwell in their universe, thankfully.
