The Shit Pit

Should try the whole DMR/DSR/SSR/SPDMR/SPR/ASR/PSR/SDM-R etc etc acronyms when it comes to the ACR and every single other type of “Special Purpose” Rifle in the USA Military handbook! :anguished:

They are all rifle’s that go BANG and chuck lead around FFS!:joy:

Mmm see Google and AI bullshit is working well :joy:

NVIDIA you are going down.

Anyone fancy doing burnouts in a LC79 unlocked V8  :+1: Does wonders for a party and 20 kids holding on for dear life. All controlled by sensible doctors. Now that was a party

@DocBob there is still a glow on the horizon. I mean what I say  Awesome fun

So… Vic bans machetes now?

Good… should be banned… and they’ve been a prohibited weapon in Vic for years.

Working at Vic Market, I used to see a steady stream of young Asian guys going into the hardware stall next door and walking out with $15 machetes. A couple if them even brought them into the candy store I worked in, showing them off. Told them to get the fuck out of the shop before they got a pot of boiling candy thrown at them. They sure didn’t look much like jungle explorers or sugar cane workers to me so it wasn’t hard to figure out what the pint-sized gangsters wanted them for.

Really, why would anyone living in Melbourne need a machete anyway? I grew up there, lived most of my 62 years there and last time I checked there were no strangler vines or jungle foliage to hack your way through on your way to pick up your laté and croissant.

Yes I saw that earlier today. No need for such a thing in a public space like a lot of things.

They are a restricted item here as of the 90’s. I’m allowed to possess and use one as that is how you cut brush fencing bushes down to make your brush fences around your home yard. That some lil prick lights up and burns down because they think it’s fun. Then the home burns down too.

Knee jerk reaction that does not solve the problem. Top job, PM of that state, get her together with the clown in charge of mine and they can all go piss off pretty quick in my books. Idiots.

The actual ban itself is stupid not because I think everyone should have machetes but because it doesn’t address the actual problems that would help with the crime crisis. Also for the rare Victorian that does require a machete for genuine purposes or is a military collector or something of that nature it is a bit stupid to punish them. A blanket ban is always the first step, permits and appropriate licensing should be the first step not an immediate ban. Back to the main point though banning one type of deadly weapon does Jack shit when kids are let back out faster then express post delivers my car parts. Also this one is controversial but mass immigration absolutely has a part in it, it’s stupid to think that people coming from broken countries will all be 100% good people, while it’s true that 90% of these people are genuinely good people looking for a better country with more opportunities the other 10% are so damaged from being in a broken environment that they’d commit terrible crimes. In saying this Australian born and raised kids have also been responsible for some absolutely despicable shit but just my thoughts on it.

Well said sir. I couldn’t have put it better myself. Exactly my thoughts on the matter.

You take one look at the offenders and tells you all you need to know. The gov can’t control it correctly and slapping a ban on it will not fix it.

That idiot says to try restrict supply before the amnesty comes in later this year. Like derr those knuckleheads won’t be abiding by any of that as they already broke the law.

Yes it’s frightening for the civilians, and they are traumatized. But they need to screw their head on the right way. Front the fkrs and they will run. I am not afraid. They will shit their pants when I roll up with a couple bar banging farmers that are 130kg of Aussie per they will wish they were back from where they came from  :v:

Yeah most people are seeing through this shit now, who would’ve thought the teens violently driving machetes into granny’s heads would give af about laws but literally nothing at all we can do about it now because labour broke democracy in Australia. Honestly surprises me that vigilante groups aren’t out brutally beating up teen offenders considering how bad it’s gotten.

100% agree.

The legal use of less-lethals like pepper spray and Byrna type items for personal self defence would be one solution I’d be onboard with.

Correct mate, it’s too little too late now. :man_shrugging:

If I had the money I’d leave this country so quickly it’s unbelievable, just doing what everyone else my ages is doing and building up 4wd’s so I can Atleast enjoy the present until I go homeless.

Don’t give up mate. Come to my place with an uncorked V8 cruiser :v:

Legal use of the gifts god gave you should be allowed aswell. Don’t see any reason that anyone should get charged if they choked out or hit a violent armed person with a clean elbow.

That’s a mean as cruiser definitely would kill my pig of a 1hz if we did cruiser drag races. I try not to give up and just focus on things I enjoy but it’s so so difficult to be an optimistic and realistic nowadays. For most people my age it’s just an accepted fact at this point that most if not all of us will be homeless and we try and tell ourselves that things will get better but the government constantly fails us and overreach’s into out lives. I’m guessing you’d know as you’d modify your own cars but building clean cruisers and nice 4wd’s is cancerous nowadays.

You can do it mate. The owner of that cruiser had no money either. But it is DPF deleted with a 3.5" exhaust which is allowed here with aftermarket ECU. He said this is factory tune, now the go fast button and it goes like a bat out of hell.

But he worked for that and younger than me. Same as me, same as you are doing, get your trade and it will all fall in to place from there out as you get older. You’ve got the talent and smarts. Keep trying, other parts of the world are not so flash as they seem.

If I had a spare 120k/yr I’d employ you as a general farm hand as I know you’d do real well. Need a ute, phone and somewhere to stay. There’s one going close by that is 75-100k/ year including house bigger than mine, decent fella too. All the million dollar big toys Deere John and Case Steigers.

@Deadsquid just remember I started on $1.20 per hour at age 17 straight out of High School in 1993. It was not easy at all, all my money went on rego and fuel. All of it. It builds up as time goes on, just won’t happen overnight.

Following these comments, it still all boils down to what all my Police and Detective mates have said continuously over the years.

It’s the COURTS that let all this criminal behaviour thrive in our communities.

It’s not the Machetes, knives, axes, Gelblasters or whatever implement is to blame, it’s the fact that these Criminals can use WHATEVER implement to commit crimes, safe in the knowledge that they will get basically NOTHING in regards to punishment for their actions… which means that there’s absolutely ZERO fear against committing such crimes.

The way the government just blanket bans EVERYTHING in an effort to appear being “tough on crime” is total bullshit.

They could ban EVERYTHING known to mankind, and yet criminals will still be committing offenses with pointy sticks and large rocks to cause harm to others.

And knowing how the government works, they would STILL bring in laws to ban trees and rocks in your front yard as “illegal weapons”

The whole pocketknife bans really got me rolling my eyeballs, as a rural person who has ALWAYS carried a knife, and I still do as I’m sitting here typing this, along with my Daughter carrying a knife since she was around 7 or 8…we have SOMEHOW refrained from stabbing innocent people even though we are carrying the means to do so.

So what’s the difference between us and the criminals?
Nothing other than we respect the law and the wellbeing of others, which obviously isn’t the case for the people who also have knives, but being from different backgrounds have absolutely NO fear of the Law or the people around them.

The scariest shit I’ve ever seen was a whole carload of Africans roll up at the farm of a mate who’s daughter was having her 18th Birthday party, and despite shotguns and rifles throwing lead over the heads of these machete wielding young 3rd world maniacs, it was just another normal day to them coming from a country where you grew up watching your own neighbours getting hacked into pieces from a very young age.

There’s no way to simply BAN everything that the government can lay their hands on to “prevent” these crimes from happening, not when you have people in this country who don’t give a fuck about our culture, Police, Laws or basic human respect for anyone except themselves. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I can’t even remember my first year apprentice wages in 1978.

Something like $175 a fortnight, IIRC.

I can because it hurt but I got her done. I think I’m poorer now

@DocBob quite the speech there and agree with everything you said. The days are gone when you could sleep on your front lawn on a hot summers night and not bother about TV or computers and crap, or getting mugged.

All I want is people to respect Australia for what it is. America is not much older. There are other countries that are much older and not doing too well, some are, some are not. It’s not a fkn competition. We must all get along.

I have many great friends. You’d be surprised what nationality they hail from, but end of day they are all Australian and why they are my friends.

Drugs are a big problem these days and it filters down through the parents from their abuse of such things. I’ve witnessed it, dealt with it and suffered the following family trouble that comes with it. Class A’s are no fkn joke. Unregulated as the gov can’t control it. That’s why people go mad and beat shit out of my RN mrs until I took the cunt down after he tried to wipe out 2 security guards. Thanks for their help.

I did my own Tacamo mission some years ago as I did not like what CBD was turning in to. Plenty of Australia to be had, just find your right spot away from knuckleheads.
