Would I be considered I cockhead for dodging the draft if it gets to that point. Like I love my country but if the attacks aren’t on Australian soil and they wanted me to fight in Iran then I have no motivation at all to do that. Most people my age don’t even know where Iran is and the albanese government hasn’t done anything I’d consider good enough to die in a middle eastern country for.
I wouldn’t lose any sleep worrying about getting conscripted… not going to happen.
Which is lucky for your generation… dodging the Vietnam draft would have been easy when the highest form of ID was your paper driver’s licence.
I would imagine avoiding conscription would be a shit-ton harder in this digital age.

My response was pretty much the same, that if it was from a Western Nation purposely attacking a poorer Nation for Political reasons…then HELL NO!
But if it was a foreign Nation attacking Australia itself, then HELL YES!
If Iran, being an energy superpower, stopped blowing their money on corruption and funding proxies they would be a lot more well off. They could be like the Saudi’s, Qatar UAE etc they are sitting pretty.

Lots of people in town are getting insanely overcharged with incorrect meter readings.
I had the same issues with my business when it was still operating in town, which led to many phone calls/e-mails/complaints and “technicians” being sent out to check everything over.
Got “refunded” several times, and by that I mean that they don’t give your money back, they “take it off the next Bill”… which is bullshit when they overcharge on the following bills as well, and never really recieve any “refund” at all. 
This is the mid year price hike that was coming in. I have to check a few things but it’s quite large.
Found the issue they’ve fkd it up to the tune of $800 odd Bills on hold until they sort it out. Wankers.
