Been out Bush without any reception since the 16th of September… and I’m STILL out Bush!
Only difference is that my family convinced me to get a phone and simcard that would work out where I’m camped out, so made the couple of hundred kays journey today to get this shit set up.
Unfortunately I haven’t had the time to go back on over a month’s worth of posts, but I have been sitting back in peace knowing that the bunch of clowns in this circus didn’t need me around to keep things on track.
All I can think of right now is that I most likely need to ban @Maiphut straight away and catch up on @RokSolid YouTube content right now!
Hopefully you don’t let me down whilst reading back through your comments @Maiphut … as I’m really looking forward to a few laughs.
Cheers Brother, certainly been enjoying the serenity for sure, and looking forward to bringing my son out here this weekend to spend some quality time with him.
If only my daughter could find a single night to come out from her 24/7 two full-time jobs, I’d be the happiest man on earth!
Damn @Maiphut , sorry to hear about your maiden flight, but can certainly understand the feeling!
My sister visited me up Bush today and asked why I haven’t flown the new Yellow 1220mm FMS RANGER that I got to replace my poor old Red RANGER Bush Basher… then I showed her all the modifications that I’m making to it to overcome the factory weak points that failed and caused SO many crashes with the first Red model.
I’m not gonna even think about getting it off the ground until I’ve completely reengineered all the factory faults out of it!
Like we’ve discussed previously mate, at least these modern Foam Aircraft can take an absolute beating and still remain flying with a bit of glue and tape for a long time to come.
Let me say, not a tinfoil beanie wearing conspiracy theorist at all… Dunno about anyone else, but my dogs have been acting really weird the last couple of weeks.
Took the little food hoover to the groomers, she said a lot of the dogs she gets in that are normally okay are behaving really skittishly.
I have to take my cattle dog to the vet because she’s unbelievably anxious for no reason, won’t eat food, won’t go outside. The vet said he’s had a few owners of dogs and other animals saying the same thing.
One theory is that the recent solar storm might be the reason. Not saying that’s true but it makes sense when you think how in tune dogs are with extreme weather events like cyclones and thunderstorms.
Is it possible that whatever’s going on that’s causing the Aurora Australis to be visible as far north as Coff’s Harbour is significant enough to be sensed by some animals?
It’s no conspiracy theory mate, these are the natural reactions from animals that have evolved over millions of years.
Myself personally, my first warnings of extreme weather events comes from the Birdlife, where their normal routines are blatantly disrupted without even knowing why.
Animals are MUCH more intuitive about disruptions in normal global patterns than humans, and is why I always pay attention to the animals behaviour around me more than any “weather forecast” that humans might be guessing!
