The Shit Pit

Apparently Albo is out propositioning other Nations for our fuel supplies now?

Too late, don’t need it, not cropping this year, drought again anyway.

Oh dear, it just got worse!

Colbert is a treasure.

He will be sorely missed, when he is gone.

No one, and i mean no one, skewers trump like him…

I mean, after trump, who shoots himself in the foot daily…

Here, pete hegseth quotes a prayer, and literally rips off Quintein Tarrantino’s pulp fiction monologue line ( As delivered by Samuel L Jackson) .

Around the 4:00 mark…

and the congresswoman, ripping into trump afterwards (7:50)…priceless…

it will be a sad day for freedom of speech, when CBS shuts him down…

Reminds me of the Italians I used to work with. You bedda farkin fix this shit quick or I call the POP on you. So funny.

Hello everyone hope you are doing well i hqve came to the attention that i dont have a secondary yet and was wondering if you guys could give me a good idea of whqt is best to choose at a reasonable price thank you.

If you just want a cheap 2ndry…i’d go for a good , modern EBB.

Gas pistols can be a pain…some leak, gas mags, gotta buy gas etc etc.

The newer generations of EBB’s , function fine as a 2ndry.

im thinking of 2 models specifically here… M92, and UDL M17 P320.

UDL has built in hopup…does 200 + fps… with decent pistol accuracy.

And affordable…

E&C G19x from WAT or DB G17 from ihobby. Cheap and accurate entry level Gbb. 5.1 inch 1911 or hicappa are generally more accurate but you have another 30 to 40 grams to cart around.

I only ever use secondary in a game when I want to sit low on the floor and fire up at someone coming through the door and and by that time I’m generally knackered

If it’s an outdoor game I just carry a $30 manual glock to fill the holster, because I’m never going to use it

I guess you’re thinking a pistol?

Buckle up, it’ll be a novel… :joy:

Pretty easy choice GBB (gas blow back) or EBB ( electric blow back)

GBBs for power and fun factor, most easily hitting in the high 200s with Co2 GBBs higher. But they can be finicky, picky on gel hardness and size and definitely need regular disassembly, cleaning and oiling if you want them to stay reliable and not wear out prematurely. The mag’s don’t have a ton of capacity either, anywhere from a dozen or so gels to maybe high teens in the hicapas.

Green gas mags can also be prone to leaking, some brands are better than others. Gas ain’t cheap either so leaks you don’t want. Usually can be fixed withe new valves but not always. Double Bell mags have a rep for leaking around the base gasket.

Co2 GBBs are less prone to leaking but you’ll be changing Co2 cartriges every couple of mags as the power drops off. Co2 is harsh on blasters too, whereas green gas contains silicone… yummy for your blaster internals and seals.

You’ve got plenty of options out there in the retail sector for GBBs, so best to go for the style you like the most… just avoid the Wells brand, especially if it’s used.

EBBs… a whole lot better than they used to be back in the old SKD G17 days, much more solid builds, metal gears, snappier triggers. The downside is lower FPS, unlike GBBs sitting on 280-300+FPS, EBBs tend to be around 170-200FPS. That said, they’re much cheaper to run, no gas to constantly buy, just charge up the battery and you’re off. The mags tend to hold more than GBB mags too… usually over twenty. The other downside is each mag requires it’s own battery, but the cost of a mag and battery for an EBB still comes in cheaper than a gas mag.

Another advantage with the current crop of EBBs is that they will operate like a manual when your battery’s dead… keep in mind though, the battery has to come out of the mag when you go manual or every trigger pull will see that flat battery trying to cycle the slide, which will cook your battery.

Personally, I don’t own GBB pistols anymore because I got sick of buying gas and filing mags. EBBs for me all day everyday. I tweak mine to get them up over 200 and that loss of power over a GBBs an easy tradeoff for me for the convenience.:+1:

Hope all that helps… did I miss anything?

Good summary @Friendly_Fire
Saved me quite a similar write up.

Don’t buy c02. It’s a winter thing for our bigger brother polymer lobbing sport… and we don’t have winter really. If you are in some of Queensland where it does get actual cold (single digits and below) then best to get something you can keep a c02 mag for as well as green gas.

Things to avoid:
Double bell… anything gas double bell is the plague.
It will work, then over time become a constant pain.

Golden eagle… unless you like tinkering and modding gas things, but even then you will quickly find you could save money in the long run and buy better initially.

Good things:
We tech, armourer works glocks.
They work. Fussy with gels and like smaller than nor al gels but that is the case for many gas pistols.
But basic maintenance is easy, and the just work… and keep going.

Likewise the later E&C glocks are good, though they haven’t had years of testing yet initial reports are good. And they work well.

Army armament. Very good I am told. But have zero experience to back it up. Though many pistol conisseurs rave about them… quite a price tag though.

Aw and wetech hi capas are good… but their glocks are better imo, depends what you like too.

If you just want something that works, aw and E&C glocks are available now at a good price if you shop around.

I must be the odd one out.

My WeTech 4.3 hicappa is the biggest piece of crap I’ve had and my DB Glocks have run flawlessly in games for the last two years (an el-cheapo G22 and G17). Only issue with the DB has been weak mag springs and the DB mags work in the E&C. G22 has been upgraded with a golden eagle 5.1" hop up barrel adapted to fit. I do replace the base seal when there is any evidence of a leak

E&C G19x from WAT is great value at $239. Unfortunately the DB G22 has gone up to over $320

Interesting observation from Blacksite was that the guys that have all the latest toys were running P226 secondaries.

Most accurate and hard hitting GBB I have is an Atomic Armory hi-cappa that came from CEH after the revolver fiasco. Still strong and packing punch long after the Wells equivalent ended in the bottom drawer

I was going to suggest my secondary, but I think I’m way off track

My secondary…

Because 100 gels are always better than 20…

Nothing wrong with having semi and full auto fire select options too. :+1:

My Secondary…

And also, my thirds…

Sorry, Couldn’t resist…!!

You mean 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 500 all the pulse rifles  :+1:

What, you mean Vas still has some.?.?

If i get the rest, then they WILL be a collectors item, again…!!
