But you need to convert the AUD (given), to USD (spending)
For all the costs of living away from home ( washing clothes, in the hotel shower!!

Normally, we get DTA ( duty travel allowance) Taxed here in OZ, when in OZ.
When training is extended / drawn out , its bonus time…
When i finished Dentistry, and came back to flying, sim time was also tight, in OZ…
10 sims, dragged out over 3 months… allowances paid in full.
Paid for the bathroom renno’s, on my unit…!!
Very rare for that to happen…grab it while you can.!

I’ll expand, a bit , on the subject of allowances…
I know there are cost of living pressures, and i know people are struggling financially…
However, when work requires you to live away from home, for a protracted period…they are required to compensate you, for your incurred costs.
For the USA, the company provides the accom, and we are required to pay for 3 meals per day, and laundry costs.
To compensate for this, they give you a 3meal/day allowance, plus laundry costs.
If thats $170 ( US) per day, for 30 days … thats $5100 US.
translated to $AUD…around $8000…given tax free , before departure.
They give you that, before departure.
How you choose to live over there, is up to you…
You still have to pay your living costs…
Live cheap, noodles / subway / groceries / wash your own clothes…
You get to keep the difference…
Live cheap / keep , say, half…there’s $4K.
And, thats just the allowances.
We also get paid a (lower) monthly training wage, whilst over there…
“middle of the road”…study hard, live mostly cheaply, you can still bring some home.

After arising from a few days of chaos of shearing, I looked at a bit of news and China is banning Intel, AMD and Apple cpu’s domestically. Damn those chi gamers gonna be pissed. Effected their stock markets slightly and is about 1-2% of their sales if what I read is to be believed. Surely they can just copy them, oh right they can’t get the machine made in Europe to do the silicone wafers. Ah well, try Fred Flinstone he had it sorted out 
They’re phasing them out from government computers only. Even then Chinese gamers are mostly mobile device gamers and most only use entry level GPUs for their main computers.

Shout out to iHobby for the god damn terrible AI art. I really wish companies would stop doing this. It’s putting graphics artists out of the job, and it looks like dog shit.
I used to be a Signwriter, the proper old school type that used paints and brushes and drew/outlined/painted everything freehand on Shops/Businesses/Vehicles etc.
My trade was first threatened with the introduction of Laser Cut Colour Vinyl, which slowly took over the industry until modern day Photographic Computer Generated Printed Imaging completely wiped out the old skill completely 
I can already see where AI is going to destroy millions of actual human jobs across the World in thousands of different specialties that people are making their living from their skills, education, experience and knowledge……… which is truly frightening to see
