I love the darker timber and is great to hear that they are a decent faithful replica like the old version, but is a shame that they have lost so much weight

I’ll obviously never get to test one out, but my mate here has a full metal/timber replica that is as hefty as the original that has been nice to swing around in the hands blasting imaginary Mobsters :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Just went to grab a few pics of it, but currently locked away as has family with young kids visiting… but will endeavour to post some photos here when I get the chance :+1:

Whadda ya mean , you won’t test one out?

It’ll be here, when you do your round Oz tour…

As well as ZB-26, M60, PKM, 1942 on the spacies, and maybe even squiddy to sink in the boot.!!
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

YOUBLOODYLITTLERIPPA! :tada:

Count me in :hugs:

The dark brown is good…xforce dark brown was Too dark…like dark chocolate…

The x force tommies are a proven performer.

Just gave the pulse rifle a burst….still doing 350 fps, on a m100 spring…

Hopefully, the new ones, will get similar performance…

The RX AK’S and the ZB26 had quite dark “timber” as well, but I liked it as gave them the retro weathered look compared to the lighter colours.

I agree with your opinion though, whereas some were so dark with very little woodgrain effect they basically looked like a block of chocolate

Funnily enough, I sprayed the furniture on my RX AKM with Tamiya brown smoke to darken it up even more…

You could still see the faux grain through it but I thought it made it look dirtier and more realistic. :man_shrugging:

is the OG Thompson magazine and pulse rifle magazines interchangeable?

they both popped up on x-force website when I typed Thompson into the search, and they are both labelled m1a1

My Elf is fine, where’s yours smart arse :fu:

You come my way I aint playing water ballz. I can only chuck lead. Shame about that law  :+1:

My original Pulse rifle, from several years ago, was a PR kit, fit onto a thompson SMG base.

I used one of Vas’s thommies, and they had to cut down a original thommy mag to fit. The new SW mags aren’t compatible with my old PR, which uses modified thommy mags ( to make them shorter).

The kit…

True story… we had an Irish Mick in our goat hunting group.

He fkn went missing on the massive station we were on. He was elderly we couldn’t fkn find him as he just wandered off and wouldn’t stick with us. Shoot at us and man he was dangerous.

Anyway we decided to go to the local Olary pub 80klms away to report it as we searched all fucking day.

Fkn no shit here he was at the front bar with his 410 shotgun pissed as fuck, some other farmer picked him up walking down the dirt road and dropped him off at the pub, dehydrated he drank a bit and was instantly off his head.

My Dad and his mate or I could not believe it. I mean it was good we finally found him, but fk me. He was not allowed to come on trips anymore.

One day said jump in the Toyota Tercel just going to get a couple bunnies. I said yea Dad’s getting the BBQ going cool. Laying in the front seat was a 22 magnum. I said oh this is unloaded? To be sure , just got to move it a bit to actually sit in. Instinctively I racked the bolt and yep live one up the spout. I rolled my eyes at him, I said oh Mick you’ve got a hole in your footwell here, ya fookin 22 went off one dai lad.

Yea no shit  :+1:

Irishmen and firearms… :joy:

You know what you do when an Irishman throws a grenade at you, yeah? :man_shrugging:

You pull out the pin and throw it back. :joy:

Surely they aren’t that bad… who am I kidding after my experiences with one

hey thanks for chucking up the review as u promised. the ihobby one is literally almost half the price 300 bucks cheaper than the old one. Still. I prefer my gel blasters as wall art as opposed to using them, dont get out much these days. So maybe the ihobby one will do.
Does it feel junky to you, or just like a piece of crap that if it was laying around the house after a big clean up ud have no problem just binning? I know the xforce one deffs not but what about the iforce once.

Thanks again mate. very appreciated.

no, the ihobby one is fine.
It doesnt feel like “cheap crap”

It does feel a bit lighter, but that because i’m used to the heavy one.
That makes it better for game days, lighter, easier to move and carry etc.

All the switches are metal, so whatever you touch “feels” metal.
All in all, a good value unit, if you are after a decorative piece / collector piece…

Just be aware , it will need some upgrades, to function above 220 fps…

But thats most stuff out of china nowadays…

Finally got some pics of my mate’s Thompson Replica.

All metal/timber and as heavy as sin!
Don’t know what brand produced this, but he’s happy with it as a nice display piece :+1:

He shot a Thompson, MP40 and an old Colt M15 whilst in the USA, so is trying to get a replica of all three for his collection :sunglasses:

Denix springs to mind, but it looks a little too sharp, to be a denix…

Maybe a deactivated replica.?

Denix of course makes replicas of all the other models, but quality isn’t superb…

But, better than nothing.

I don’t know how they called the Thompson, a sub machine gun.

A more accurate description would be, “Bloody heavy, full sized rifle length, automatic weapon that fires pistol bullets, if your arms don’t fall off first from carrying it, assuming you have enough money to pay its exorbitant price, unless your a gangster using it, then shame on you for breaking the prohibition!!”

Whew…say all that in one go…:rofl::rofl:
