Tempting… 
Price is up there though, and depending on your target FPS I’m not sure if there’s any great advantage over a decent Singularity box.
It would be great for a monster FPS Gen 8 build, I guess.
Then you gotta figure out where you can run that 400+FPS full auto beastie.

Yeah that’s my pov on these CNC boxes in general, unless it’s some crazy build 99% of players won’t actually need that kind of hardware.
Especially if you’re running HPA, there’s no reason to have a metal shell, yet there’s HPA specific CNC boxes, it’s just wasting more money on something that already costs an arm and a leg.

A bit surprised nobody’s mentioned the Jing Ji SLR v5 that just launched. Biggest changes are stock metal gearbox, new SLR stock and handguard is the new futuristic looking one. Oh and also the stock mag is extended.

Gen8 CNC box is something I was interested in for my ump… but… The singularity box is pretty tough. The main benefit of the CNC would be easier to shim but you really only do that once. Massive cost difference for something you only do once per build. The singularity box has been known to hold up to an m110 spring anyway, though the 460 motors tend to not love it as much as that point.
That and there really isn’t that much material in a gen8 it’s pretty compact. All said I could justify a $150-$180 priced item… $240 is a stretch.

I had a couple of Snow Wolf Gen9/10 era gearboxes back when they were the latest thing on the market, and was quite surprised to see this company producing these Alloy boxes…I didn’t even know they were still around let alone building stuff like this!
Yeah the old Singularly gearboxes still held together up to 430-450 with an M120 , as long as the AR Latches were beefed up

Vaz has been getting a bit of stuff from Snow Wolf - the Thompsons, PPSH, Steyrs and Pulse rifle are Snow Wolf. I understand there is more stuff coming - hopefully the grease gun

I see that Bing Feng have an updated QBZ Type 95.
FCU, integrated front grip, alloy outer barrel, better mag release setup, AK style rock and lock mag insertion. On this U.S. based Youtube channel it’s designated a 2024 version and seems a big step up from the older BF Type 95 which was just running a P90 full auto only box and AR style mags setup.
I guess bullpup enthusiasts like me will just have to wait and see if anybody brings them into Oz.
