Upcoming Blasters and Products

Thanks Bob. There are a lot of new models come out recently!

Hi there is a new blaster from XYL - APC 9K. Same mosfet as the XYL ARP9. Will share more when they arrive.

Oh that is exciting. Love the look of them.
I’d be very happy to get one if you can also get spare mags.

Genuinely curious about its magazine compatibility. I got burnt from the BF P90 V4 only accepting V4 mags and are not backwards compatible…

The v4 and v5 are basically the same except the geareset. The mags are the same.

The mag for v3 is different.

@RokSolid yeah this one is also a good start!

I literally bought out the last of the extra mags for V4 in my country and now I’m regretting not getting more

Do you guys have info on the specs of the APC-9K? This is the first time I’ve seen this blaster. Also does it use proprietary mags?

bit of a random question, but anything ww2 era on the cards at all? I know there was the sten not too long ago.

Sten MKII is already available, not sure if @AKgelblaster has any left in stock tho

also checkout the writeup BME did on the one he imported

Just as the forum went down, WAT posts pics of this:

No information given.

I am very interested in one of these, look very cool and would suit my local indoor fields well. Time to file my first B709a and hope it works out

Kind of reminds me of a bastard child spawned from a few too many schnapps shots at the H&K Christmas party… in a good way. A mash up of a MP5K and an UMP. :man_shrugging:

Very cool little unit though. :+1:

Haha it does look like when an MP5K loved an UMP very much…

B&T, Swiss manufacturer. Apparently like the MP5, lots. And this is their modernisation/simplification of that.

It will be interesting to squeeze some reasonable power out of it, the inner barrel is going to be very short. But we all know I am a sucker for punishment and love a challenge.

If the XYL ARP9 is anything to go by, will be decent as is. The mosfet will need to replaced eventually when it blows, and I am guessing there is very little battery space, especially given it has mag prime and blowback. Definitely disabling blowback because reliability.

Kind of hoping the gearbox is similar to or the same as the ARP version, as then it is a known quantity. Also as much as I did not like the ARP9 platform, I did appreciate the performance and aftermarket parts support it had. It did have quite the cult following too, which meant I worked on loads of them, predominantly for semi auto builds.

I am planning to do a teardown and optimise it initially, with minimal parts maximum return. The later after a few games and use to see how it fares, go for something like a T238 DTU, brushless motor and 12/13:1s for efficiency on the small battery, see what can squeeze out of it. I am already thinking a longer inner barrel and suppressor with hopup is going to be the best bang for buck return.

Sounds like you’ve got a plan, Stan. integrated suppressor like the ACP9 Tele?

B&T make some cool bang bangs. MP9 /TP9 springs to mind. Pretty sure the folding stock on the linked ACP is the same one B&T make for the MP5K too.

Make sure you put your progress up for us… sounds like an interesting project and you know how we like to live our lives vicariously through the experiences of others. :joy:

Makes for very entertaining reading too… love the tech stuff on here. :+1:
