Upcoming Blasters and Products

Parts and support, are where it’s at…

Before sinking big $$ into a special item, it’s nice to know parts are readily available…

Who knows, if enough V2.5 builds start appearing, parts may be more plentiful on the ground…
Y’know, like a real wood and metal ZB-26, for example….
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Still keen to see how a v2.5 performs though…

Bit of v2.5 consumables here You searched for V2.5 – Outdoor and Tactical

Maybe Alix has some too :person_shrugging:

Get your B709 going @BME  Surplus CYMA v2.5 Gearbox for SR-25 & Elongated Shell Airsoft Guns – Umbrella Armory

For me the price is a downer. But no spare mags is a deal breaker for me more than the price.

Always a deal breaker, thought they would have cottoned on to it by now. No spare mags = wall hanger.

Cybertrigger have spare mags for the HK417 and M110

Vas had showed spare mags for the 417’s in the video he posted on Facebook I’m pretty sure, don’t recall any for the M110 thou.

Not everything had been posted yet either last I checked

I can’t find that video on X-Force’s FB page :man_shrugging:

Is it on their group page? The most recent one I can find is of the CNC Gen 8 gearboxes.

He was doing a stream when I saw it, assumed it would upload the vod after but maybe not.

Found it, it’s was on the new page he started cause one got taken down or something

The stream drops out for a bit but you can hear him say they got extra mags for the HKs

You gonna post up a review thread at all on them?

On a side note… one for the3D printing gurus…

Has anyone thought about 3D printing tri-prong M16 flash hiders? Vietnam era?

Sooo easy to machine in alloy or steel if you have access to a lathe and a Bridgeport… which I don’t atm.

Not available locally, readily available from the US if they’ll ship to Oz and if BF let them through. Then you’d have to drill and tap out the 1/2" x 28TPI thread to 14mm CCW. So it’s obviously easier to either machine up or print up. Printing does seem the easist option and I think anyone looking for the correct flash hider for an M16A1 would be happy to pay for one.

For now I’ll just have to run with this reworked plastic four prong flash hider… but the real deal is preferable.

Thoughts? :man_shrugging:

Printing muzzle devices is no hard work at all, I’ve printed dozens of suppressors, flash hiders or muzzle breaks.

Haven’t done that specific one thou but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen files for one.

The only downside is the material strength compared to a machines one, if you hit it hard enough it will break, but they’re considerably cheaper to make.

Ive been printed muzzles for ages, my self designed hopup can usually be incorporated in the muzzle too… with varying degrees of success due to I print in petg for better later adhesion, but it does mean a few design choices need to be made to minimise stringing.

Newer printers do pretty good PETG prints now with little to no stringing. I have no issues with my BambuLab P1s for that.
Have yet to try anything like that in ABS yet but the few test prints I’ve done so far have been promising
