x-force has the UDL electric pistols. Strange pricing - same as entry level GBB pistols from iHobby, particularly as AKGelblaster has them for $141 on sale

X-force pricing is weird. They have JM MP5K for $249 when you can get it from iHobby for $190 before discount

X-Force have always priced their blasters a bit higher than their competitors. Sometimes heaps higher.
They price oddly at times. Like the AA12 shottie gelblasters.
$375 for the foam flinging version, $30 for the conversion kit, $25 for the gel compatible shells. So all up $430.
Or you can buy the pre-converted AA12 with 5 shells for $250… $180 cheaper. 
Go figure. 
Guess it tells me these perform better with darts than they do with gels.
And ppl think the drawstring mag on the GE shotguns are ugly…

I like it… it’s different, and I reckon it’d be the shizz on a sci-fi build.
As strange as it looks, painted black it would look pretty cool on an EM Cannon… would take away a little more of that M4 look.
The perfect mag for an Aliens M240 incinerator build too. 
An M16A1 upper, one of those mags and a trip to the Sausage Factory and you’ve got an Aliens flame unit.
It has a shit-ton of potential for that… 
And I happen to have an A1 upper and an M4 lower I’d be prepared to hack about to see… FAFO. 
Might just make it a project for myself.
@BME Any chance you could do a mag compatibility test for me? See if an E&C M4 mag will fit and hold in a CYMA M4 lower, terminal positions, etc? 
Yep…E&C mag fits…
E&C terminals sit flush and a bit lower…but still make contact.
auto mag prime works, on the cyma, when you insert a E&C mag.

One possibility, is take moulds of the shrouds, reproduce, then cut away…?
That way , the originals don’t have to be destroyed, and easier to custom trim repro’s to fit…
I’m thinking more sheets of styrene and glue. 
No capacity or ability to 3D print, so old school Adam Savage stuff it is…
But the idea of a “pulse rifle-ish” top shroud on a Vector’s got my juices pumpin’…
I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what they had in mind when they designed them now that you mention it
