“There is a WE airsoft speciality shop / showroom in the area. In it every WE guns are on display including Mauser M712, P08 Lugar, P38, Browning HI power etc. The best is the Desert Eagles , it is way better than TM and Double Bell.”
I can only imagine, I can only imagine. I think WE Tech are very good.
yes, they are very good . Basically WE guns are copy of TM (Tokyo Marui) guns but made in metal. TM guns are made in plastic because of the law requirement in Japan
I have a funny story from years ago. Bought two SLR receiver kits from overseas (pretty sure it was MonkeeMods) Two separate purchases on different dates.
Some time later I get an official-looking letter in the mail. Says my item has been seized by customs, and if I want to appeal, fill out this form. I do that, email it off.
A couple of days later, I get a phone call from a bloke who says he’s from Home Affairs, calling about the form I sent in. Turns out I’d put a wrong number on there. So I give him the right one, and started talking to him about it, explaining it was for a gelblaster. He said it was seized because it was “compatible with airsoft”. He wasn’t being authoritarian about it, just stating their reason. He was actually quite reasonable to talk to.
I told him “Look, at the end of the day, you people will decide if it is seized or released. All I can say is it is for a gelblaster, which are legal in my state”. He said he would send it back for review. I thought, well I probably won’t be seeing that one.
Not long after that, a parcel turns up - the second receiver kit. Came through customs without a problem. Looked like the money I’d saved on them had been negated by losing one.
As it turned out, no it didn’t. Shortly after that one arrived, the first one (now adorned in the ABF tape) shows up! No letter, notification or explanation with it.
So, as Beemer said “as always, the entire system depends on who you get at ABF on the day…and who’s running the ABF appeals system”
I have been lucky, though also a bit cautious with imports so far (also learning the ropes of how the system and pitfalls work takes a notable chuck of my time these days!)
A mate had a clear gen8 mag seized for the same “it could be airsoft” reason.
Contacted them and emailed his thoughts, intended purpose, and the statement of its for gel ball which is legal here. It was passed on to him shortly after.
The big key is make sure everything about it states “gel blaster”. Postal statement, and packaging. It gives them little room for argument (less anyway, they can always do what they will anyway) but end of the day you are at the mercy of the ABF officer on the days feelings and mood.
Ideally, have it touch down in Brisbane, its clear sailing.
Annoyingly it is VERY difficult to ensure that happens unless it comes in a LCL (Less than Container Load) via boat, which is a long time frame.
They function the same as the earlier shotguns.
As far as I can tell they all are the same internally except the super shorties having a shorter barrel.
Having a used mine at multiple games I can say they run very well, great gas efficiency being a pump action, good range and decent grouping. It definitely shines in CQC, though if that’s your main field type I would recommend getting one of the shorter ones as trying to move around with a full length one gets a bit tedious.
Having lived 5 years in Dubai this sounds suspiciously like the UAE customs. Bought a leather belt from Massdrop, never showed up. No explanation, nothing. Just poof, up in smoke.
The stock for the UZI standard will be available soon.
So sorry that the shipment to QLD for Nov was delayed. The stock will be included for free if you have ordered the UZI standard but not yet received as a compensation.
All good. Just interested in timeframes. Understand you have a lot on, and i did want the peformance fettled before shipping too. Christmas delivery is not critical.
All going to plan, if it comes in similar speed as the last shipment should be here in time for Christmas. Working to have another shipment leaving soon too but that will likely be for next year.
