No chapter ring, the hour market at 12 is misaligned, the box is missing so much stuff too. Would Probably arrive looking like plastic.

I believe they have very high quality fakes, out of HK nowadays….
$1000 or so… and you basically need to be a jeweller with magnification to tell the difference…
The parts are basically interchangeable…
Enough to fool the average punter…hence be very, very careful on the seconds market…!

A friend was showing me his Sky Dweller, the movement looked good, but the chapter ring was misaligned and looked like they burned the steel when laser etching it. Took me a while to even notice it. I haven’t told him because his girlfriend bought it for him.

This was my Dads Rolex.
He had a whole collection, but his partner got rid of them , out of spite, before he passed away. Thankfully, he gave this to me, many years ago before dementia had taken hold.
I think its around mid 80’s vintage, submariner.
Had it cleaned at the local jewellers.
I spoke to rolex…i was thinking of replacing the bezel, to make it look newer.
They want a fortune for the bezel, and will keep the old one…so there are no " grey spares" floating around…

They want thousands just to pull it apart, give it a service, see if its all original movement, and write a certificate of authenticity…

Judging by their website these came out before the Hande Tec-9’s were out, so well over a year ago I would say
I saw that one too, but pretty avg performance for what it’s supposed to be, could be that fps limit thing holding it back, would depend on what kind of gearbox, would imagine is something like the P90 gearbox so would have potential then.
The 1 review on it is very helpful too…
Edit: I just watched one of the vids on it and no, wouldn’t even bother with this one… Fully proprietary gearbox and it’s mechanical feeding mags, also plastic barrel.

Yeap, AKA have released a groza. Similar tier to their AK12 which would have it around the $900 mark- if we ever got them.
