" I Don’t have a blaster problem…you have a handbag problem…!! How many shoes do you have? How many Handbags.?? you NEED all of those , right.??
Walk carefully, you’re on very thin ice…i wouldn’t be worried about my blasters…"
What an effective managment strategy, right.?.?
Bound to lead to harmonious relationships…!!
( it makes you wonder how manipulators can actually pull it off…treating people like that, and still keeping them on the hook…)
But yeah, OK…Enabler it is…!!
Your doing good, if you can leverage justification, for other peoples purchases…!!
The LDT one is pretty fancy. And would want to be for the price, even at discount.
Older red LDX Advance with BigRRR mosfet and LDT tappetless.
I don’t care for tappetless, and even less for the BigRRRrrrrRRRrrs. But it makes a good base to start as an upgrade platform, plenty of options for down the track.
So it is really a metal with metal gearbox and endless upgrade options,
Vs.
Nylon with poly gearbox, and quite limited upgrade options, an the only gearbox option I am aware of is there being a nylon version somewhere.
So really, if you just want a cheap replica the LH would be fine. If you want to skirmish it and get it cranking, the LDT is the pick… but man what a price tag!
That said, provided I wasn’t scammed I picked up a second hand LDT one last week for a little less than half that. They don’t come up often as there is probably not a ton in the wild at that price point, and those that did get them really want them and keep them. They also seem to hold their value more than other models.
But should you buy second hand? well… if you have a good knowledge and skill, and loads of spares hell yeah. If you are the sort of person that would pay someone else to fix a potential shit show, I would save and get the new one with warranty!
That’d be a B709a jobbie, wouldn’t it? You sure you wanna roll that dice on a blaster?
I dunno, I’m a bit of a LeHui fan… they’ve made some good gear IMO. OG Vector V2, Skorpion EVO3, Steyr AUG, Sig 552 Commando, MP9 SMG etc. Sure, nylon builds but fairly good quality mid-tier blasters and not an M4 to be seen. Gets my vote…
It’d be the Le Hui for me. Vas gave them a thumbs up review.
The base tier is $749, only $50 more gets you the eshooter, alloy cylinder head, and metal rack piston and alloy piston head… and deans plug instead of the awful tamiya; if you are spending that much you might as well go for the “ultra line” version.
Apart from the eshooter being just okay, the other upgrades are well worth it.
Then there is the "Ultra Plus, which I find quite interesting. All the above but adds 16:1 SHS gears, and a 35k solink brushless motor, and the bluetooth version of the eshooter.
For those playing at home that is a neat 24-25 rps right out of the box, for a tenner more than the cost of the mosfet and gears extra, kinda like getting a (almost) free brushless motor!
I would recommend a radius and aoe pad, and correct cylinder (except the rattlers are probably spot on) for any E&C, but especially the ultra plus, as that fps and rps is going to fatigue much quicker than a standard version.
A lot of good bits out of the box for a bit extra. (even though I have eshooter reservations they are often alright)
I’ve been a BIG AliExpress fan for years and simply cannot fault their services from over a decade of purchasing many different parts across a wide range of hobbies including what I build in this day and age.
Sure that it takes some time to investigate every single product from every different seller on the site, but once crack that algorithm, great things come your way!
What annoys me about Ali is you can’t sort by lowest price without losing the majority of the searched items, pain in the ass so I find myself scrolling through practically endlessly depending on what I’m searching
