Just wanted to share this photo of a friend’s GuaiQiaoHu Saiga 12, been out since end of last year but just got his hands on one recently. Three gels pop out the barrel per “shot”, not great since you can’t put a hop up on there but effective range is 8 meters which is enough for some CQB action.

AEG, no gas allowed in China legally. Not sure how it works either, all I know is they got a proprietary tpiece and three barrels inside… supposedly.
So how does that work? I thought the majority of GBB blasters were made in china? Or did they stop making them for export?
Almost every Airsoft shotgun uses a triple barrel setup so the design is there but didn’t think anyone would try and get it working for gel, the nozzles looks funky too.
Every gel shotgun I’ve seen is just a line of gels in a single barrel being spewed out.
I guess for an AEG it would be harder to get multiple gels into a single barrel per cycle than feeding a single gel into 3 barrels at once.
I would very much like to see a proper working Saiga12, USAS12 or AA12, although we got the funky nerf/gel shell ejecting AA12 that just drools all over the place.
That bing Feng m870 springer was a double barrel setup. Probably the only exception to your statement besides the one Martin showed. I havnt heard of any other shotguns having two barrels when it comes to gel soft but I could be wrong

Pretty sure one of those under slung mock grenade launchers had two barrels also and was basically a pump action shotgun.
But yeah those are the only ones I can think of that are the exception.
Most GBB are made in China, by airsoft licensed factories for sale on export markets, very tightly monitored and regulated.
I have always frothed over the airsoft tri-barrelled shotties, just hoping one day they would come to gel. Unfortunately a saiga looks a bit to automaticy for us to ever see… but maybe a pump version that doesnt suck one day!
