New blaster from XYL - SSG1 (a lot of colors to choose from)

So many penis jokes.
So many.

I’ll let someone else, kick it off…!!

One for the speedy bois…

Fortunately, that ain’t me…

Behave Mr Beemer   Here watch Rolf Harris. Jake the peg with your third leg

You started penis jokes.

It’s just a third leg anyway.

Far out I just backfired again. There goes breakfast, again. :v: You owe me LOL

Back to the subject at hand. They look well kitted out @AKgelblaster with mosfet and all of it.

Not my forte` but some speedy bois might like it. I might dislocate a hip if I try that  :+1:

It’s been doing good, no issue apart from bad filament.
Had it’s first maintenance the other day, it’s like a car that tells you when it’s due for an oil change but instead clean and regrease the rails and that.

Nice, looks the goods.

I hear you, nope that needs to go down for maintenance. Then Dad says what have I effed up now, it’s just a effin oil change, settle pettle.

Then he rings me up, blown a tyre so I gotta go rescue his arse 100klms away being a Landbruiser tyres are bit heavy.

Oh here we go. It’s not running right, when’s the last time you put new NGK spark plugs in it, oh never. Errm that might be why it’s running on 4cyls instead of six backfiring going no where.

  :+1:

I heard about a similar model to this one in the airsoft world causing some controversy with its existence, no idea just sharing something

A REAL 4WD doesn’t use Spark Plugs mate! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Niether does my stuff. Where’s your FEL, turn your Nizmo in to a pile of scrap in 5 minutes if you wish.

There, fixed   :v: :+1:

Patrols are good cars. Mate was up long weekend with his Y62. That hauls arse.

Another friend has the 4.8ltr straight six, that also hauls arse.

Just Dad getting bit old and forgetfull, keeps insisting on running LPG gas on his bruiser. 1 of 100, 50th anniversary edition. Leaves the fuel tanks half full, run that fuel otherwise go stale. Nekkminut, I have to fork out near a grand as the petrol went stale and blocked all the lines up, dropped the twin tanks gone rusty inside.

Dad, you didn’t listen to me and are making me broke

Just run it on 98, it’s cheaper. LOL. All the shahins are ripping out all of the LPG pumps anyway.

@DocBob there was big trouble locally couple years ago. A second servo opened up. Guess what they didn’t do, clean the underground tanks out.

Go fuel up a $140k landbruiser V8, bang blew about 5 of them up. 50k ish for a new motor. There were some big shot farmers very not happy jan. They got shut down and sued.

Water in the Diesel underground tanks. I was oh dear. There’s things called a pre filter. Why I stayed away from that particular Indian servo. Cost them big time, farmers wives bang blew the motor. Yep…

Had a similar thing in town here when the Indians decided to take over.

They thought it would be a good idea to switch the Diesel and Premium Unleaded pumps and tanks around.

Obviously the Premium Unleaded turned to dish soap being completely contaminated by Diesel residue in the tanks, and the Diesel fuel caused pre-ignition and all sorts of issues with vehicles all around town and in the surrounding farm and transport industry.

Took a little while for people to realise, but no action was taken, the word spread around the region and people just stopped buying fuel there.

They were out of business by the end of that year!

Yea, some similar things happened here.

All because of what I call miss management. If you are going to run something and provide service to civilians…

At least have a half a go at doing it properly instead of completely fucking it up then complain about going bankrupt.

I’ve worked for some multi M $ farmers before and they bitch about going bust. They don’t even try to do it right. Roll up one day 100klms away to shear sheep. Not a sheep in sight, farmer forgot what day it was. I’m like how can you fuck that up far out. Boss was not happy and got slugged cunt tax.

Farmer wants a wife show, decided he liked boys instead  Which is fine but why did I have to go rebuild his house to make it look pretty for that bullshit fake show. 3hrs they spent filming for a whole 10 week show haha of absolute lies and crap. Why I don’t like people telling me I should go on FWAW as it is so fake crap. Experienced it first hand.

Not a me problem, yes I make the odd mistake, it’s called life, hmm that didn’t work, recorrect and have another go asap a better way. Done and move on.

Just wanting to confirm, is there any issues with importing internal parts and accessories from overseas vendors like AKgb and M416? At least since the restrictions came in, like where’s the line for what gets stopped assuming the ABF officer didn’t get out of the wrong side of the bed that morning.

I know some here have gotten various things in with varying success.

My experience post new laws :ox::poop: is as follows,

I applied for b709a’s for some AEG magazines from akuncle, m416, akgelblasters and they approved and arrived without issue, just waiting on my magazine from akgelblasters to be delivered

I have ordered some AEG magazines off AliExpress and received them without issue having NOT applied for a b709a

I have ordered a few barrels from m416 and received without a b709a on a few occasions, no b709a

I cannot speak on gearboxes, triggers and the like unfortunately but I am under the impression a b709a would be required

I haven’t had issues with internals so far, nozzles, heads, pistons, ETUs, motors etc etc.
I had a few mags come no worries but not an extensive amount.

Gearboxes, or anything like handguards stocks etc, is all your mileage may vary.
Had quite a lot of people sending me messages like “I got this in no problem so you could stock up!” Yeah… nah. It is very different someone running the gauntlet with one gearbox Vs me trying to get 20-50 of them! And my understanding is, you are very much running the gauntlet.

As always has been the case, but even more now- if you can’t afford to lose it don’t order it from overseas!

It is simple economics. People are always like oh there is so much mark up on this stuff… yeah. There is. Some retailers have had containers seized and destroyed, and there has been many smaller loads that never made it. One over zealous ABF officer and you’re stuffed. Risk and reward is accounted for and passed on to the domestic consumer.

And b709a for parts… for anything “automatic” doesn’t matter. It needs to pass the Federal border to make it to the state. If they know what it is for and it gets inspected your part is getting the bin. If it gets through, it wasn’t inspected.

Since the laws changed and AK and I lost a shipment, well… we aren’t doing it anymore.
Me personally have been getting tech related parts in to keep that going, but my orders are smaller than they were. Gambling smaller amounts more often sort of thing.

End of the day, it is a case of does it get inspected because few parcels do, and if it does, does it get seized or passed on? That is up to the feelings of the officer on the day.

I wish you all luck! So far, mags and internals have been fine for me. Ain’t tried much else.

Thanks for the insight. I was primarily looking at the smaller parts maybe a gearbox shell and potentially a whole gearbox, stuff we don’t have local.

I understand things like handguards/OBs/ receivers etc basically being a guaranteed seizure due to appearance but I don’t really need any of that atm.

I wish they’d at least figure out necessary procedures, you know, the ones they imposed on us, so stores can try and get some stock but that involves federal to get off their arse and work with the industry :unamused:

How do you guys feel about the Golden Eagle MP5s? I wonder how they compare to the LDT Warinterest MP5s in terms of performance.

GE MP5s hit pretty hard, most of the ones I seen were over 300fps out of the box. Performance wise they are quite good, one of the rare blasters you might consider a spring downgrade.

Comparing them to the LDT MP5:
The LDT offerings have metal upper receivers and metal gearboxes.
Warinterest were the nylon receivers and gearboxes.

Golden Eagle is… somewhere in between as far as externals go. Receivers are mostly nylon, with metal parts and barrels, and gearbox.
I nearly bought one of the SD6s from GE, but came into an LDT one which suited me better as I already had a load of LDT MP5 mags and parts.

The big plus of the GE is… they are available. Now. In quite a few variations.
…and at a not so exorbitant price. The remaining LDT ones have been inflated to $699 at WAT! So if you aren’t married to LDT mags, and don’t mind the nylon receiver with metal box and parts, the GE is a good option.

Speaking of gearboxes, this is a new release that’s turned a lot of heads - a 20 RMB (around 4.2 aussie dollars) nylon split gearbox.

Claims to hold up till 60 rps at 80 mps, but I’m still waiting on more info. Workshop is called XYZ I think.

The more common manufacturer is XYL, so possibly one of their new releases?
