Hi Everyone,
I’m chasing an Azreals Armory metal hellfire hop up if anyone has one unused they would like to sell? They don’t appear to be in production any longer
Hi Everyone,
I’m chasing an Azreals Armory metal hellfire hop up if anyone has one unused they would like to sell? They don’t appear to be in production any longer
Azreal’s has them on their website in stock for $35
Thanks mate, I’m chasing the older metal version that they don’t make any more
Posted here on the off chance someone might have one they’re willing to part with
I haven’t got one, sorry can’t help. Got mixed reviews on them plus I try to do something more like the real one as why not, classed as firearms in my state.
Might not do so well if I get invaded though
We’ve got 1 metal Hellfire Hop-Up and it’s pretty accurate. Being metal it takes the knocks. The tool less adjustment is also handy.
To Azreals credit I emailed them chasing a metal one and explained how the two 3D printed ones had broken and they’re posting me two new 3D printed versions as a replacement at no cost. No complaints about that service.
I’ve not tried their plastic ones, but didn’t mind the metal version. Tool free adjustment was a nice thing. Average hopup performance, it worked as any hopup would on the couple of blasters I put them on (all customers). They all liked them and kept them.
Cool, Brent does try to help you out if you get on to him, the owner. Nice fellow.
Not sure why but must not be NC making those or another run is due or something. I don’t know.
@RokSolid What’s your typical go-to hopup?
We’ve got some of the iHobby style with the 6 different tongues. Don’t mind them but I find that the grub screws work themselves loose during play. The plastic “plate” that the grub screws thread into comes out occasionally as well
Set your screws with Loctite or super glue once you have them where you want.
Most hop ups work loose from the thousands of balls, vibration and stuff. Glue them in. Hope that helps.
Household super glue will do it. Just ah, adjust it right first where it suits your balls and you got it where you want it. Only a drop or two on the screws, don’t plaster it on you may need to replace it one day.
Loctite is easier the red stuff 262 is my go to
The iHobby hop ups are decent. I like inner barrel mount and 14mm mount are decent performing hopups.
But I do mirror your issues, occasionally needingneed to glue the plastic plates in and screws to come loose.
My favourite is probably still the old LDT Universal hopup which the riser is pretty much a copy of.
No issues with screws coming loose and it works fine.
Also have a stack of DK slim hopups still which sometimes work really well and sometimes don’t work so well… 3d printed hopups have that effect.
But they fit I. Some muzzles nicely.
I have a tub of various hopups, because sometimes on just doesn’t play nice with a blaster and then I try another. I do prefer the flash hider/compensator look to the suppressor, but don’t mind either just depends on what works best for the blaster at the time!
The DK J10 was a great early 3D printed hop up that would only blow it’s guts out for an external hopup when you pumped the jam a bit too much over 300 fps.
LDT slim inner barrel ones I found great too. I usually do high volume fire though which is when things come undone
I’m a fan of the 11mm inner barrel hop ups. But then I rarely go over 280FPS on my builds, at that power level they always seem to work well and pretty much fit anywhere.
Recently tried out the metal 11mm hopups, I think from Double Bell?
They’re even better.
I’ve still got many early 3D printed DK hopups in the pile of boxes, but as usual no idea what they are all designed to fit!
I’m not educated on anything about 3D printers, but can’t only imagine that modern accessories would be of much higher quality than those old Buzzsaw and 9" Grinder"quality " parts!
The DKJ10, it’s printed on it. Originally for the JM ACR but being 14mmCCW it fitted many others and was a robust hopup.
No 9" required Jeez I’m not that old…yet LOL!
This one. Top tongue only and quite robust and works a treat.
DK-J10 Adjustable Hop Up for JM ACR J10 Gel Blasters | X-Force Tactical
Has a semi circular half moon type top tongue which seems to be more accurate than the flat tongue type. whatever works
