We used to put a bulb in, and some lube; and test every one at point of sale.
Used to be so annoying when probably half wouldn’t hold a seal brand new straight out of the box!
Reached a point where I would wake up in my sleep fixing the valve and piercer seals!
Mine worked, fps was very hot compared to most, around 320fps. Mid summer would punch closer to 350fps, but quickly learnt to not use it on hot days.
I shot a mate with the inner barrel instead of a gel once. We laughed. I fixed that. It leaked… fixed that. It would get nearly two mags before the bulb was empty… fixed that.
Sold it, with a spare mag, case, and safariland holster with various mount points for $150. I reckon I wasted well over that in spent cO2 bulbs getting it working right! Best thing I ever had… I mean sold
