One of my good mates here in town is ex ADF and still has her Service Dog, “POPPY”, as they both retired at the same time!
Beautiful Alsatian, but can be a bit tricky to handle around certain people and other dogs, but they are both still attached at the hip and Helen doesn’t go anywhere without her “shadow” 
Just thought that I’d add how Helen always includes her Dog in ALL her conversations.
“Poppy and I went here, Poppy and I did this, Poppy and I just done some work in the Garden” etc etc.
Gonna be a very sad day when Poppy is no longer with us.
