Did you ever get a straight answer on the law changes and your instructional videos? I need to finally upgrade mine and having a video guide was so bloody handy 
I did but it was more of a “check with your lawyer” response sprinkled with generic vague statements about protecting the community etc.
For now, no assembly videos. It does seem I am the only one choosing this path though so maybe I am the only one flying on the side of caution.

I was around at my local retailer, talking to the owner… she wasn’t even aware that techs are supposed to be licenced armourers. 
I reckon you’re doing the right thing flying under the radar on the tubes… at least until you determine otherwise.
I’ve been told state wise we can tech, but the federal rules suggest it’s grey. No retailer has stopped doing it, and correspondence suggests it is safe without explicitly saying so. Because government.
Nothing here yet either, PM Malusnookus promised no changes and that is in black and white. We already have controls that NewSuckWales and sictoria never had because they denied it in the 90’s.
Better not f around with it either. SSAA south Australian ceo’s have stood up and sent the Honorable PM Malunuskis formal letters. No need to do nothing here. He is on notice.
