A question, for any USA members...Aliens mag cover

howdy.
Just a quick question, for @AKgelblaster , or any USA based members…

I am after the end cap, mag covers, for the Aliens pulse rifle gelblaster.
The arms break eventually, and need replacing…hence why they sell them.

They are not available for individual sale here, though evike currently do have them in stock now ( they were sold out for some time).

PROBLEM: Evike has a “blanket ban”, and will not ship ANYTHING to Australia, even via retailers ( we have tried).

As far as customs are concerned, these are a harmless gel accessory, and ABF would have no issues whatsoever allowing these into the country.
They allow gel accessories in from HK, all the time.

Bringing them in is perfectly legal, like other gel accessories, and stopped only via evike’s shipping policy to Australia.

I want to buy 5 or 6, for spares, before they get sold out.

QUESTION 1: @AKgelblaster , can you source and supply these.??

If no, then

QUESTION 2: Would any USA members be able to send a one off order, over to me.??

i.e. i would send the $$ over for the purchase and postage costs to Aust…you would buy them locally and then send to me.

I’d even throw in a little extra, for your trouble…

100% legal, no risk for anyone.

Obviously, @AKgelblaster would be a simpler path, if available.

Anyone interested.?

I have tried looking everywhere worldwide…

no one else seems to have them.

Evike is the only place i can find, that sells them…

Shipping is through the roof.

I had to create an account to test whether they shipped to Australia. The test was for a single cover… $100 shipping CAD…

However they offer free shipping for orders over $200 CAD

You may find some other goodies on their website that you’re interested if you have a good browse of their items for sale to get it over $200 CAD to be eligible for free shipping

For your sake if you were to proceed with purchasing, I hope for 5 or 6 of them it would still only be $100 shipping

I haven’t bought anything from Canada recently but being part of the commonwealth we used to have gov subsidized shipping which I have noticed has gone to the dog house and gone up with this current government so they have fucked with it. Used to be free shipping from UK and 2 days, now it’s $20 and 2 weeks. Our gov has fucked it. Our current gov did not engage in FTA.

I told Vas he should have brought some in…they will eventually break or get damaged… i want a couple to repaint as well…

I’ve heard that international shipping from United states and Canada have gone through the roof across the board for all shipping and prices are absolutely ridiculous.

you may not get much more cheaper even dealing with someone locally there especially after covering the shipping costs for the local sender as well as the cost for them to ship to you and the extra to make it worth their while.

but at least this will give you something to compare it to so you can figure out what the best method with be

Hopefully you can get it sorted for a reasonable price

I don’t think it’s a tariff I think it’s just the “cost” of international shipping increased substantially

Sounds Ike it’s cheaper to drive across the border so parcels are mailed from within the USA instead of being “sent” to the USA from another country. :thinking:

I am trying to understand this part. Is it not allowed to export to Australia only? I afraid the shipping will be very high.

Evike has a policy.

“No airsoft to Australia. It’s a banned country. We don’t ship there.”

This includes accessories (grips, suppressors, stocks etc), they just don’t send ANYTHING.

If the pulse rifle mag covers were available in HK,…easy…I’d order from HK.

The only place I can find is Evike…who won’t send it over.

Can you find the snow wolf pulse rifle mag covers , in China / HK anywhere.?

short answer…probably / maybe.

That was designed for the a/soft wind up mag…you had to take the mag cover off, to wind up the magazines internal spring. Our gel mags are different, and have no need to wind them up.

It should fit though, and is better than nothing though.

I don’t have a 3d printer.

What could be done…?

i think ive downloaded it…i might try taking it to the local jaycar…

the owner is a mad 3d keen printer…maybe he can print it…

Looks like i’ve had a win…

I emailed the Canadian Mob, and said i was after half a dozen, and $100 postage seemed a bit excessive.

They said
a) They have no problems sending to Oz…(bye bye evike policy), and…

b) They will refund the final difference in postage costs, from the $100.

Score.! Placing order soon.!
