Aliens Pulse Rifle gelblaster

Thanks again to @Friendly_Fire , for the effort involved…
It was a lot of work to pull it down.

I reckon you should put up a few photos, of the teardown stage, to show people whats involved…

Cant wait to see it put together…!!

WTF…?..Are you saying that ‘green’ one is the same piece as the ‘brown’ one…?? Just different lighting…?

I don’t believe it…

Absolutely 100% correct…!!

FF as my witness, it was all painted up, we took it upstairs for a photo on the table…and that happened…!!

Couldn’t believe it, hence took photos…!!
Down stairs in full daylight…solid brown bess…!!

No wonder James Cameron cracked the shits…“lets paint these military brown”…and they turned olive on camera…!

Look at the difference on the black stock, as well…

I think this brown has some green in it…and the right lighting conditions really brings it out…

I do not believe it…It’s some kind of devil voodoo

@Friendly_Fire , back me up here…!!

I think the phone colours enhance the colour change effect as well, but it certainly was very noticeable using the Mark1 eyeball…

Absolutely 100% no bullshit.

Same shroud, both photos taken two minutes apart, one in shade the other in full sun, no post processing on either. :man_shrugging:

I’ll call that definitive proof that whatever colour we’ve sprayed it’s dead similar to the paint used on the original movie props… :sunglasses:

Maybe we should post these photos on the PulseRifle Forum…

Golden formula hit, Genuine colour found…by accidental luck…!!

Half would argue its incorrect, the other half would be frothing for the formula…!!!

Yep, there’d be arguments about it. There’s no right or wrong.

Just what you like.

It’s pretty much covered on Youtube…

Besides, you’ve bogarted all the Pulse Rifles… nobody else has one. :joy::joy:

Thank the lords it’s on the right track. I knew that spray on tan I sent was what you needed

The difference is outdoors in the sun you are under UV light. Indoors you are not and some paint colours change. That’s all it is McBeth :+1:

Getting the next project lined up…

The “Blaster Brown” Lacquer bottle, was the worst of the paints…

After a test sample, i regretted going out buying all those bottles…

It was a smudgy, smeary brown…

This is way better…

I’ll leave that for you, matey! :joy:

Something tells me by the time I reassemble this one, then strip and reassemble the black PR you want to paint up, “Pulse” will be a dirty word. :joy::joy:

Unless you’re refering to the Pink Floyd release… in which case… awesome!

How’s the brown shell looking today, now it’s dried.?

Still doing colour mumbo jumbo on the back table, or different now it’s dry.?

More overcast today, as well…

You have got no patience what so ever have you

Its called curiosity…!!

An admirable trait…!!

Not according to Cats it ain’t! :astonished::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Curiosity lead me to find this colour…!!
:wink::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
