Aliens Pulse Rifle gelblaster

Have to scout the place first.

Pfft as if you’d have a tracker

Last respray to all black… from Alien 3. :sunglasses:

If I had one of these I would seriously gut the Thompson receiver, whack in a good sound board and decent speaker and have it as a non-firing prop that looked and sounded awesome. :man_shrugging:

That looks mint. What shade of black is that… :joy: No I don’t care black is black.

JBL speakers work good, could fit one of those in there, bit fky to pull apart but good sound :+1:

Something like this should do the trick

Not the best weapon for stealth.

Good News…!

Finally, the pulse rifle mag covers are on the way from Canada…!

Evike can stick their shipping policy, where the sun don’t shine… and my $$ can go to a country that will NOT be the 51st state of USA…!!

I grabbed half a dozen, have some spares , and i can paint them to suit where they are going…

I’ll put this link up, for future reference for myself, and any others…

It was worth emailing them, after sending them they refunded $30…from the standard $100 CAN intl shipping fee.

Still exxy, but thats the way it is everywhere now…

USPS intl expedited shipping, so it should be here soon…!!

Good to know.

However, with Vas bringing in the Snow wolf jobbies, this kit is largely redundant.

It takes a LOT of work, to get these to fit onto thommy…
I used vas’s thommy originally, the newer versions might be a bit easier…
But still, a lot of modifications were required…

Most people would just pony up, and grab a readily available Vas pulse rifle…he brought in quite a few.

I suspect snow wolf released this kit, following a production run to consume leftover spares . I dont think they released the original kit, from 15 yrs ago…

Still, good that its available…someone with a thommy might like to torture themselves, making it fit…

And, you could easily paint it the ‘magic brown bess/olive paint’ , as its already apart…

@Friendly_Fire , feel like a prolonged torture session.?.?.?

20 bloody characters

Surely they can’t be that hard to fit. :man_shrugging:

" A day in the marine corps, is like a day on the farm…
Every meal a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade,
I LOVE the Corps…!!"

“A day modifying a pulse rifle, is like a day on the farm…
Every dremel is a delight, every flush fitting is fabulous, every paintjob a picasso…
I LOVE modding PR’s…!!”

Now your in the mood…!!

I’m almost tempted to get one, to fit on a new thommy…350 fps…

Long term torture project…!

No fear of failure / damaging anything…

Ray said that it was just very time consuming, to get everything to fit , to OCD tolerances…

Go on, BME… get one… it’s not like you haven’t got a spare Thommy or two kickin’ around…

But consider… I’ve seen a 330FPS Thompson and at 350FPS gels are like sperm… if they can’t hit the ovum it’s a waste of a swim. :rofl::rofl:

Hold up there sonny jim… come visit my Farm…

Insert pic as above

Looky what turned up today…

7 Days, from Canada to hot hands in brissy…UPS can get a move on…
Good accurate postal updates, too…

Hero outdoors packed quickly, and posted promptly.

Plenty of spares now, may as well grab a few, if you have to pay postage.
I can paint em up, as required…

Awesome. Is that the one was $100 postage they refunded $30 on? Bit exxy but for a niche product not bad at all.

Bit like me ordering parts for various things, usually the standard system quoted mail price can be cheaper once speaking to them.
I’ve noticed in general last few years some of the postage costs for various things from the US have gone through the roof. To the point of not viable at all. Dunno what happened there, maybe a subsidy deal ran out or something.

Y’know, with the kit above…

I have seen on ebay, all metal repro’s of the Spas cage, barrel, vent and stock…

Having had the first PR in OZ, maybe its time to have the first ALL METAL pulse rifle…

An all metal Click/Clack on pumping, would be awesome…

And making it ridiculously heavy, and hard to hold , would be icing on the cake…!!

Looks at @Friendly_Fire … up for something stupid.?.?

Yeah, they refunded the $30 CAN.

Its the only way to get some spares, so do 1 larger order, and done…

I reckon they will break eventually…good to have spares…and can paint as reqd to different colours.

Your right about postage, they charged me extra to get the sten stock out…

Yikes…!!
The price on this…!!

I wonder if there is enough strength in the shroud, to hold it all together…

My spider sense is tingling, this could be a spending spiral…

Nope. :joy::joy:

Seriously it wouldn’t even be viable without an absolute shit-ton of modification. The Snow Wolf nylon conversion kit’s designed so the injection moulded components fit together with features that make assembly possible, like screw tabs, etc.

Start introducing metal parts that aren’t made to fit the kit components and you’re entering a world of hurt… or I would be  Just the hours involved would be huge… your budget would have to be as large as Riddley Scott’s was when he made the original PR movie props.

Maybe X-Force would do the conversion to metal for you.

So…what your saying is…

Get a real thompson, and fit the kit to that.??

Got it…!

Time for a cat R license…

Should have it by monday afternoon…

I remember seeing a all Metal Custom Pulse rifle, built in the states, being offered for sale for $6000.00 USD…

And that was several years ago…
