Either not picking balls from the mag or mashing them and shooting chunks or they are curving to the left. Average 2 out of 1 full mag will shoot straight. Tried a variety of high quality hard gel balls. And grown different sizes. Just can’t figure it out
Ok I’ll try silicon spray on the follower.
Gels will curve if they are old, have been sitting in a container for a while or the inner barrel has turned and the hop up slots aren’t at the top.
Mashed gels can be a problem with them feeding into the chamber, poor barrel fit, gels too soft, gels that are still too damp, cold brittle gels from the fridge, too much gas pressure from a new refill and probably a bunch of other reasons.
Check that the feed ramp doesn’t have any sharp edges and that the gels are feeding into the rubber chamber.
Thankyou. Alot more you’ve pointed out to try and cancel out. It’s out of the box for 2 weeks
Don’t forget to give the barrel bore a good cleaning!
A second hand Blaster that’s seen a lot of smashed Gels is going to be pretty filthy and create a lot of issues as well.![]()
Pulled the G22 out for a test run. Found another issue - the inner barrel was loose in the housing. Reset the barrel and tightened the screws. Put 13 two month old AKAs on a one metre target at 12 metres
