I see from the SAAA magazine that NSW has changed gun laws to ban belt fed firearms
No body has one of those anyway ![]()
Just shows how retarded this nonsense is in the first place
That was part of the federal import ban thing too, specifically calling out belt fed firearms, had the same reaction as Maiphut, who dafaq has one of those?.. Outside of military.
I posted that on 14 Jan 2026 saying that the Australian custom is banning red dot sights and scopes into Australia. Even if you order them through airsoft seller in Hong Kong or DHgate in China. They will be turn back before they got onto a flight to Australia. I order one red dot sight on DHgate from China. It is now turned back to the seller in China by Chinese customs. You can still buy scope mount accessories on Aliexpress. This is the true spoken by the guy at Octagon airsoft Hong Kong. I don’t know about vests and pouches.
Well this is true, beside the ones Lithgow make the rest ADF have to import to keep the DF thing going. Might join myself so I can play with toys ![]()
Mates son is keen as 16, got him a bit of advice from my vet Uncle. Went well, great young lad and will do well. It’s what he wants to do. Go for it.
I just had a plate carrier and chest rig clear customs from UK for Military1st. Doubt they’re cracking down on gear. Just “firearm” parts.
Yeah I was having another look last night and vests and pouches were showing up again and was allowing me to order.
Maybe something happened over there that was stopping them from shipping.
What I found out years ago whilst doing my Gelblaster side business was that Customs/Border Force has a database that lists all of the overseas businesses that they have had prior issues with the importation of Gelblaster/Airsoft or Firearm items being shipped/imported into Australia.
This way ANY packages that arrive in Australia from any of those retailers are automatically seized and inspected.
I found a couple of retailers in the UK that were able to send me stuff, but that was after contacting them and ensuring that they didn’t mention Airsoft in ANY of their shipping declarations or business names.
I can’t imagine how extensive this list is these days compared to when I was doing business, but no doubt that there’s very few overseas retailers left that don’t Red Flag packages that arrive here.![]()
Technically it shouldn’t matter anymore as airsoft has been legalised

3 steps backwards, no steps forward.
No changes to classifications or number of firearms allowed as per announcement today for QLD
Good to see QLD, is not as BAN-gry, as the feds…
My new word… BAN-gry …!!!

Nah Bangry’s when you f##k a bitch hard in anger
Bangry
An accumulated or sporadic feeling of anger that results in the urge to use sexual intercourse as a means to diffuse, distract, or resolve one’s negative emotional state. Alcohol is often a determining factor in the occurance of this feeling, and this can result in a myriad of effects.
Emotional effects may include: confusion; dissapointment; more anger; depression; and, feelings of euphoria.
Physical effects may involve: spousal arguments; rape charges; sexually transmitted infections or diseases; and social exclusion (or inclusion, depending on the culture).
Not to be confused with make-up sex.
I like the term “Calm and Methodical” they used to describe the bill, shame it seems no other State or politicians understand what those words mean.
At least the new laws target the crims…
Any law abiding gun owner, would have no problems with those changes…
3d print models are up for debate…sci-fi / movie prop prints could be contentious…
re 3d printing ones
its an issue because at state level - they are a replica and not illegal
its the federal level where the headache comes in.
I’ve given it some thought, and think i’ll do this…
Roll the B709 dice… on a star wars E11.
This mob make a collector quality piece, its a sci-fi prop, not resembling anything real, all resin, no moving parts etc etc
Its a stars wars blaster…they should let that through…
A good a test case, as any…
And, i can sell it locally if i desire…
lets see what happens…its only a permit application…
Cool looks like they are catching up to my states laws brought in 30 years ago. ![]()
Why we have never farted around with appearance laws. You bad, shit prison food for you as long as the judge sees fit. You can still do bad things with things that don’t look like an AR or similar, so appearance laws are a bandaid and not addressing the problem at hand directly.
Looks good and commonsense for Queensland. States can, have and always will override Federal gov “suggestions” as to what the law should be. It’s been happening since I’ve been alive and I wasn’t born yesterday.
Seems like chrisifullof has found a middle ground to keep the feds happy and his state. That will work in my thoughts, follow through and get it done.
Going to be fireworks in March in my neck of the woods I dare say. I am eager and keen instead of the walking dead gov we have now. @DChapo too calm is my current PM, he does nothing haha. He makes a big who ha and puts it on the news as he initiated 12 new homes being built to help with the housing crisis. 12. Let that sink in… ![]()
Of the how many tens of thousands of houses they originally said they were gonna do?.. Typical politicians thou, talk big but so little, Crisafulli seems to be in the minority of actually trying rather than ,as you said, a band-aid approach.
