Polling day is March 21 in my state and nothing changes until after then. I know who I’m voting for along with a lot of others.
I was looking at Ali express to see if I could get just a cheap RMR sight or singing for my p320, nothing was coming up in searches only those protective covers and base plates.
Had a look at one I had saved and it says “not available in your location”…
So they’ve also banned accessories, to what extent I’m not sure yet but there are only flashlights showing up ATM.
And they’ve also banned things like vests and pouches it seems cause I get the same results on things I looked at like a month ago.

Everyone should be careful posting anything, anywhere … and not just innocent sarcasm … ANYTHING!. If someone declares theyve experienced “hate”, regardless of how ridiculous the claim, the onus is now on the accused to demonstrate they have not intended offence. The premise of innocent until proven guilty is gone. Even, if the accuser is playing lawfare, you still need to convince them otherwise in court … and good luck with that. Take a guess how overloaded the court systems will be. You will be a subject to an investigation for 6 months … imagine the stress of that? Plus the associated legal costs. When (not if) you lose, you’ll be punished, fined, have to pay the accusers legal expenses and then have a record for life, and serious limitations on your ability to get a job, a loan or travel internationally.
Seriously all, either close your social media or forum accounts, or commit to read only.
I’ve broken my own rule only to bring awareness to an upset communitiy thats been immediately impacted by most of the new legislation.
with deliberately open ended legislation, open to interpretation… it really is a matter of how hard they want to persue any individual case…
time will tell, which cases get prosecuted, under the new laws.
i’m sure they will be high profile…particularly if they are ‘moderate’ cases.

It’s turning for a Nanny State to a Fear State. I already filter a lot of what I say to certain people/groups cause I know they’ll have a sook, even at work I’ve been told off about how I’ve worded stuff even though the context was I no way hurtful, all because one person didn’t like it and had a sook.

It has extremely sensitive microphones…so if she has a fall in another room, they can hear her and talk to her.

They were able to pick up muffled conversational voice, in the toilet, at the far end on the house…

My BIL leased a TESLA through one of those Mining Company Shemes and my Sister HATES the fact that she absolutely ZERO privacy with it.
Apart from the constant data collection every time you drive it, it also runs the Cameras and Microphones etc 24/7.
Even parked in the garage, she’s uncomfortable being around it knowing that it’s filming her every move and recording all her conversations.
All the sensors are buried deep, both within the car, and embedded within the operating software.
Not easy to get out.
The weakest link is removing the transmitting antennae, and replacing it with an equal ohm resistor … it thinks the antenna is there, but nothing is being transmitted…
most people dont even realise, or are apathetic…
by 2030’s pretty much all cars, even entry level ones, will be rolling spy machines…

I challenge anyone to read the entire document and understand it enough to make the decision yay or nay in 3 hours… Because that is what happened.

The laws to govern it are potentially very sinister if abused.
I highly doubt many people read the document in its entirety, they would have most likely had a txt to speech app read it out to them, and probably fell asleep halfway through from boredom then just said yay or nay to it, and the level of comprehension taken from it…
