Nuketown closed down by bureaucrats in GCCC
Today is a very emotional day, it all started 9 years ago at a place in Pimpama called Nuketown. My son and I bonded, healed and had fun, in 2019 we took over operating the business and met thousands of amazing people, made friends, saw other bond and heal. Sadly today was the final Nuketown for the foreseeable future, somewhere, someone in an office who has never experienced the comradeship, hope and healing that Nuketown created decided that we can no longer operate at South Coast Restoration Society Inc]in Pimpama. We thank them for their ongoing support and hope that somehow we can continue to operate in the future. In the meantime I encourage each and every one of you to contact your local MP and Councillor, especially Mark Hamell, Donna Gates and Mark Boothman and advocate for our field and your sport.
Personally I have shed many tears today, my DNA now lives in the very ground we all played on, I want to thank you for being a part of my journey and my family. God bless you and we hope to see you on the field.

Danger close is working out if it is viable to run every weekend rather than fortnightly. New field with some very good reports of being run very well. It is semi only which may turn some players off, but it is largely closer ranges with lots of inside and outside of buildings so it was decided quite early semi only was best for fun and to keep people from hosing lanes of approach and prohibiting actual engagements and progress on the field.
I want to make the trip down there sometime soon, I have a few weekends booked out with other goings on already, but soon!
As for Azraels, not recommend at the moment. Seen MANY reports of people waiting longer than acceptable for a QLD retailer. Don’t know what they are doing, but stuff all it seems.
The last order I did from them was all Aztech stuff for a customers blaster, and it took nearly two weeks. It held the job up, and in the end I convinced the customer to stick with tappet and nozzle (always been my recommendation anyway)
And now I have spare tappetless shit I may never use. PITA. Anyway, whats a few more random spares for the pile!

Donnybrook are raising money to pay council fees to change zoning of their field to sporting ground or something like that.
They have a go fund me thing going.
My guess is council said no? It’s bullshit. They have a spot with plenty of space from any neighbours it shouldn’t be an issue.
