Locates nicely near my left thumb so a C clamp grip around the vert grip makes lighting up pretty natural and intuitive. Wiring’s short, unobtrusive and out of the way.
All integrated with the vert grip / battery storage on this MP5K so stays in situ on lipo swaps. Only downside is the flashlight has to be taken out of the clamp on battery changes. Not a problem.
Modified flip up MP7 iron sights, flashlight, flash hider, four mags, around 200FPS. Might see if I can get that up around 240ish before it gets used in anger. Not many options for that Gel Fight gearbox though.
I’m pretty sure I already know the answer to this but would the use of HHO gas as a propellant be allowed?
It is ignited so I guess would fall under the “explosive” propellant category. I believe it’s what hydrogen engines use actually. When ignited it creates vapour that condenses and leaves water behind.
Just had a guy on YT pop up on my feed and he makes various 3D printed “launchers” that he uses HHO gas and a piezo lighter.
Naturally I would make shells to launch gels instead of solid objects.
Interesting concept with how short the burn time is for HHO it seems, the biggest issue would be making and storing a steady supply of the HHO.
Hmm yeah, but those PVC launchers were like compressed air weren’t they? Like high pressure stuff.
Watching his other videos, because HHO is lighter than air he just fills the cylinder to room pressure in a bucket and that’s enough to propel a printed “bullet” a decent distance but not with so much force it could be considered dangerous.
This is all just novel curiosity but my goal would be to be able to make something that could shoot basically a cocoon of gels that when impacting a wall or cover it would explode with gels.
I got an idea, I just gotta act on, to make one for the 40maxx but I feel like that’s not going to have enough power to propel the payload let alone with enough force to make it pop.

Gen 8 box out, new green o ring, reshim and grease the gears, new piston spring, new t piece and inner barrel, rerout of the wiring harness (I even used hot glue this time ) and reworked the Magpul foregrip to make room for a bigger lipo.
New motors in all the mags… speaking of which, to whoever scored the EVO3 in the giveaway, good luck finding spare stick mags for it… I think I bought them all up years ago.
