The tactical MP9 is coming along nicely…
Suppresor with rail for an X300 torch, 7.2 inner barrel, Aimpoint red dot. Cool little unit. 
Shame it double feeds on 11.1v… not a problem on 7.4v though.

Never seen a Torch on a Suppressor before! 
I thought that’s what the side Picatinny Rails on the reciever were for!
Doesn’t like the official or the one made specifically for the MP9 have a laser built into

Certainly makes them look a lot beefier mounted on the Supp though! 
The supp throws a much smaller shadow when the torch is mounted under it… so there is a benefit. On the side pic rail it throws a big shadow on the opposite side. It’s great with the supp off mounted on one of the side rails though (I added an extra rail on the left side of the receiver). Wide field of illumination.
Not that that matters, really… it’s not like I’m gonna invade Poland with it.
Cheers for the explanation mate, it makes perfect sense as to the location of the torch in this regard.

Let me preface my post with the statement that I am definitely not of the 3D print generation.
Anyone who’s familiar with 3DG G17s will know the pain of shoehorning a tiny lipo into a way too small magazine, struggling to fit the cover on, then finding out you’ve damaged your battery wires and you’re fooked.
Replacement batteries, magazines, anything in fact for these early EBBs is like rockinghorse shite these days. Just not available.
So in the spirit of “cut’n’shut” ( cos what do I know about 3D printing voodoo? 
) I grafted the base of an old Vector mag onto the existing 3DG cap to allow enough room for a standard Vector sized 11.1v lipo, or a small cat-swinging party with a couple of friends. 
I’m sure the print guru’s will get a chuckle out of it, and it may not be the prettiest solution, but it works even it it is bulky. No more pinched wires, buggered lipos and these little lipos are readily available on Fleabay.
So the much hated 3DG Glock 17 lives on… a bit like that creepy uncle that keeps appearing at family events, annoys all the women by perving on their cleavages over his sausage roll… but just refuses to friggin’ die.
Could look worse, at least it matches.

How do you find the lipo listings, on fleabay.??
It’s got “Vector” written all over it.
It uses these cheap little checker lipos now… Vector 11.1v…
Here’s the ebay link but they’re currently out of stock.
Runs the G17 just fine and easily replaceable… unlike the bullshit lipos that came with these blasters.

And, you could throw on a retina searer-1300, to blind the neighbours…!!
Top moderator’s from an airsoft company overseas, goes without saying getting it in could be a bit of a crapshoot.
But all of those moderators are either for real steel Glocks, or based on them, so yes… readily available, with risks.
