Never seen a Torch on a Suppressor before! ![]()
I thought thatâs what the side Picatinny Rails on the reciever were for!![]()
Doesnât like the official or the one made specifically for the MP9 have a laser built into
Actually now that I have a closer look at those I think that was the one I saw
Donât you know.?.?
Supps are for scopes.!!
![]()
![]()
Never thought Iâd see the day. ![]()
Must be trends over functionality?
Certainly makes them look a lot beefier mounted on the Supp though! ![]()
The supp throws a much smaller shadow when the torch is mounted under it⌠so there is a benefit. On the side pic rail it throws a big shadow on the opposite side. Itâs great with the supp off mounted on one of the side rails though (I added an extra rail on the left side of the receiver). Wide field of illumination.
Not that that matters, really⌠itâs not like Iâm gonna invade Poland with it. ![]()
Cheers for the explanation mate, it makes perfect sense as to the location of the torch in this regard.
Iâm thinking the same ⌠Iâm just running around a Gelblaster field, not invading Poland! ![]()
Let me preface my post with the statement that I am definitely not of the 3D print generation. ![]()
Anyone whoâs familiar with 3DG G17s will know the pain of shoehorning a tiny lipo into a way too small magazine, struggling to fit the cover on, then finding out youâve damaged your battery wires and youâre fooked.
Replacement batteries, magazines, anything in fact for these early EBBs is like rockinghorse shite these days. Just not available.
So in the spirit of âcutânâshutâ ( cos what do I know about 3D printing voodoo?
) I grafted the base of an old Vector mag onto the existing 3DG cap to allow enough room for a standard Vector sized 11.1v lipo, or a small cat-swinging party with a couple of friends. ![]()
Iâm sure the print guruâs will get a chuckle out of it, and it may not be the prettiest solution, but it works even it it is bulky. No more pinched wires, buggered lipos and these little lipos are readily available on Fleabay.
So the much hated 3DG Glock 17 lives on⌠a bit like that creepy uncle that keeps appearing at family events, annoys all the women by perving on their cleavages over his sausage roll⌠but just refuses to frigginâ die. ![]()
Could look worse, at least it matches.
You know, thats a Burton mag, right?!
![]()
How do you find the lipo listings, on fleabay.??
Itâs got âVectorâ written all over it. ![]()
It uses these cheap little checker lipos now⌠Vector 11.1vâŚ
Hereâs the ebay link but theyâre currently out of stock.
Runs the G17 just fine and easily replaceable⌠unlike the bullshit lipos that came with these blasters. ![]()
This thing?
Gotta say, the 3DG would look uber cool with this comp on itâŚ
Or this bad boyâŚ

Might have to get fettling⌠![]()
dont forget the wooden gripsâŚ
Wait a minuteâŚ
![]()
Do they have Glock moderators readily available.?.?
The add onâs look the goodsâŚ!
And, you could throw on a retina searer-1300, to blind the neighboursâŚ!!
Top moderatorâs from an airsoft company overseas, goes without saying getting it in could be a bit of a crapshoot.
But all of those moderators are either for real steel Glocks, or based on them, so yes⌠readily available, with risks. ![]()
The second one, bad boy ![]()
Request it sent via seamailâŚ
Cheaper postage, and arriving into brissyâŚ.
Avoid the sydney sanitation squadâŚ
I was looking at that torch on Ali last night⌠Hmmmm ![]()
@shadow187 Heads up if you buy one⌠that particular X300 clone was very loose on pistol and picatinny rails. Like, really loose. ![]()
I had to make up a plastic 90° spacer and epoxy glue it to the vee in the base to make it a secure fit.
But it is a copy of the quick release Surefire so easy to pop on and off. Which means holstering the pistolâs still relatively easy. ![]()
