Also snagged the m870 for shits n giggles for $10, apparently they were a let down when released and took forever to get to fire, found that out for myself lol, hopefully something can be done about that before I couldnāt get it firing during a quick test with soft then hard gels
a P90 for $20 but itās got feeding issues, the nozzle doesnāt appear to retract far enough to allow gels to feed and the magazine spring is bent to buggery but a new mag will sort that, doubt Iāll find a replacement spring for it
And last but not least he offered me the jingli SLR CQB for $50, couldnāt pass that up
Mp7 and the SLR work great, itās just the sticky 
on the mp7 Iāve gotta sort, then the p90 and m870 issues
Still not bad for $100

I sat down with a beach towel on my lap, hand scraped the rubber off then hit it with a wet sandā¦ great result after paint butā¦

Tip, diggers isopropyl alcohol might be a touch too strong to remove that rubber coating, itās leaving white stains that wonāt wash off 
Green oring, mild spring and ported cylinder. Dont recommend going to nuts on them as gears are basically unobtainable these days. Entire gearboxes still exist I believe.

The standard spring in its about the same length as the m97 shotty but itās a bit thicker, would you suggest m90 at most? Not sure Iāve seen anything smaller available in my spring search travels
Definitely m90 at most. Even m85 or m80, or a spring or of a stock blaster that is a little bigger than the mp7s if you have one.
Fortunately the spring is really accessible on these
Good news is x-force has V3 gearboxes available for $40
Edit: no they dont, I think vipertac does, nope but they have metal gears for unspecified brand mp7
Iāll see if I can find an m80, m85 and another m90 n see how I go, spewing ausgel shut up shop, cheap springs was good

Itās a repaint jobby, after rubber removal.
I did the same on my mp5sd supp.
Isopropyl got it offā¦but left whitish marks on it.
Butā¦all ready for 50 shades of whatever you likeā¦!!
Tamiya paints spray on really well, fine paint, fine spray application, no blobs or can spitting.
Then a clear coat on top to protect it.
Go tan, black, greenā¦.whatever tickles your fancyā¦!!

Yeah I figured as much, just deciding what colour 
Most of the Tamiya colours I found were only small spray cans, Iād assume about half the size of a regular sized spray can
Definitely need to get a primer first this time, then the colour and probably a clear coat.
When a $20 blaster becomes $20 + ~$60 for paint+10 for the isopropyl alcohol

Yeah, tamiya cans are small, but good.
A lot of the other brands spit out heavier spray, which obscures fine details, and can spit blobsā¦.they can ruin a paint jobā¦

ISO is very good, even for resoldering joints and terminals.
I thought about drinking it one day but thought I better not as was 90% proof
Another trick in my toolbox is dielectric grease.
Donāt need much but keeps the contacts moisture free so the current can flow. I give it a run about a decade ago works awesome.
@BME might be time for another bunnings sausage run 
They arenāt that I am aware of and Ausgel looks to have sold all remaining stock to X-Force and closed.

What to soak the shells in to remove that shit?

Check out the spray can itself about what type of product is used for āclean-upā.
Is it Nylon or ABS plastic?
The sooner you can remove it after application, the better chance of getting it all off.

Itās made of ABS and cleanup says turps but I donāt have any and Bunnings will be closed by the time I get there unfortunately
Might just be stuck with it
