soak in water. at around 2 hours have a look/test
if good drain them. if not leave another 15 mins and repeat until good.

Productive morning, at friendly fires place…
UZI comparo…
His… Shorter barrel, Spaced spring, 11v
Mine… better factory fps, longer factory hopup barrel, 7.4 v
We can confirm… the factory hop up does work.
Also… very variable chrono results.
We both had a ‘range’ of fps…consistency was not to be found from a $170 product.
Regardless of chrono results, the mark 1 eyeball saw the gels travelling well.
Lower fps see’s less lateral spread, and we both had no problem hitting a slim tree, at 18 m away.
My uzi got pulled apart, and just a shorter barrel inserted initially…gearbox left std.
FPS actually dropped, for mine.
Original barrel with hopup back in, and gearbox pulled apart.
Excess oil cleaned up ( yes, there was a bit) , and a 10mm spacer put on to the spring retainer.
All back together, with Std hopup barrel, saw the average fps up by about 20 fps.
Now averaging a solid 190-200 fps, with factory hopup on.
That’s probably as good as its gonna get, out of this setup …

The law of diminishing returns on an undervolumed short barrelled unit. 
At least you got a little bit of a gain out of it. I was kinda hoping for more like 210-220FPS out of yours with a starting figure of around 170FPS but maybe that’s a little unrealistic for these.
Interesting that I gained about 60FPS out of chopping the IB and spacing the spring, but you really only gained about 20FPS out of the same length spacer… go figure. 
I’m gettin’ pretty fast at whipping those UZI gearboxes out though…

a more consistent 190-200 fps…
As stated , the uzi with a hopup travels further than the 230 fps EBB M92.
The hopup works pretty well… and keeps lateral spread low…!

I see from Rok’s latest Youtube content that the factory’s shortened the inner barrel on these UZIs… good move.
… and I’m guessing the outer barrel is alloy now?
Shame that 14mm CCW barrel’s so long though… it’d look very weird with a suppressor screwed onto it… unless the thread was recessed into the sup far enough so that the can sat back up against the receiver.
Final stage of development.
11mm slim hop up fitted to the shortened inner barrel and dialled in…
Plastic outer barrel bored out at the receiver end to 11.2mm, neat sliding fit over the hop up.
Still showing high 190-205 FPS, better grouping. But as expected, at longer ranges seems to not hit as hard.
Oh, and a cheeky suppressor because… SMG.
