Old man would always faff around when mum and dad took us out to dinner/lunch somewhere and could never understand why he was so particular about where we sat…… us kids were like “ but dad, there’s a table right there” and yet he would ignore us and keep wandering around to find the exact right spot.
Always used to confuse us as kid, but was eventually told why once we were a bit older!
