Gotta Getta Retta.! EBB M92..( Or..Dress me up, dress me down.. Robo/Burton is in town...!)

Wait, what.??

I can here hear it from here…
The indignation… the startle… Where did these come from.?!

How come BME has a M92, and no one else has.?
They weren’t even advertised.?!!

Simple really…

Rok Has the M92 blasters in stock…but no battery. They have to be shipped seperately…coming soon.

When i ordered my Robocop kit previously, i ordered a spare mag/ battery… so i actually had one, ready to go.

Rok is happy for me to do a review, to release information on them…even he hasn’t fired one yet.!!

So, moving on…
This is the Nylon version, but you would swear it is metal.
The EBB’s of old, were cheap plastic for $150…and felt plasticy…

This, with its metal gears, metal barrels, and metal triggers/ safetys, as well as stacked electronics inside … is quite hefty.

It feels heavy, and like youre picking up a real metal item.
Wooden grips, would help convince you , as well…

The mag fits well, clicks into place, and has a mosfet hum, when engaged.
Dont leave it in overnight…mosfet…

I have had a few feeding issues… it feeds better with a full mag…a few fails as the mag gets closer to empty.

The spring pressure on the remaining gels reduces…so pulling it out and encouraging it to the top works…

right…some of the basics…
OOTB perfomance…

with the robocop kit, i also ordered a upgraded spring. its easy to pull the blaster apart, and swap the spring over…

Standard spring perfomance, using green cats… is around the 190-210 mark…
The slide cocks fairly easily, on the standard spring, and locks back on last shot.

The upgraded spring, comes with extra effort, to cock the slide.
It must work the little battery pretty hard.
Sometimes it doesn’t lock back on last shot…i wonder if the battery struggles to cycle all the way at times.

A word on the safety switches…dont touch em.

  1. they do nothing but rotate…dont lock the firing mechanism.

  2. They are stiff… i forced mine to turn… it did… but the spring / round pin popped out and protruded.

  3. what happened hereon was my fault…
Easy fix, i thought…take it off and reattach properly.
I unscrewed the safety, removed the switch. Straightened the spring. Put all back together…and tightened the screw.

Tiny screw, into chinesium pot metal switch… 1 turn too tight, and, viola a spinner. Stripped the thread, on the switch.

I pulled it apart, figured out what happened…its now back together, with the screw retaining the switch…but screw lodged in tight, and spinning. I might araldite it in , for retention…there is no need for it to come off again…ever…

MORAL OF THE STORY: DONT TOUCH THE SAFETY’s.
They do nothing anyway…Let them sit there and just be something you grab onto while cocking it…

The round cylinder on the top is the inner part of the safety switch.
It just rotates and does nothing. Same other side…

The screw in the middle, removes the top rear sight, if you want to put the Robocop kit on…

Wait…

Did some body say Robocop.?.?!!

Can confirm these, and the other AEPs I got in feel very good in hand! Impressive!

As BME states, I have no batteries for these as they are harder and slower to import than blasters believe it or not!
Also have no mags! As the batteries are in the mags… so mags with batteries here within 2 weeks all going to plan then there will be a load of AEPs available.

I’ll just tease everyone, in the meantime…!!

“Come quietly, or there will be trouble…!!”

At these fps, yes, there will be…

Just getting out of the shower, and half dressed…!

The spring does put extra pressure on everything, and makes it a bit harder to cock… Also sounds louder as well…

The robocop kit ( avail from M416 gelblasters, and mags, and springs) fits well. It goes on easily…3 grubscrews hold it on. Be careful…grubscrews into 3d material would strip very easily.

It looks great, the mag extender is cool, and is not expensive…

This was using the standard spring.
There is also a barrel extender, which needs glueing in…not installed in this photo.

Compared to the real Robo prop… this is about 3/4 size…

The prop is bigger and heftier, and screams Robo-intimidation.
The blaster… is good enough…just pretend you haven’t seen the photo…!!

The blaster rear sight could use some araldite to hold it on…its only retained by one screw.
Apart from that, the kit is a tight fit, no slop.

The best way to get the mag in, is without the mag extender.
Mag in first…extender on last. Ensures mag is in properly.

" Dead or Alive, You are coming with me…!!"

" Hold up Bud… i’ll handle the dead ones…!!"

Wait, what…more cross dressing.?.?.?

Another day, another Burton Gen 2.!!

(real one on the Left)

I had ordered spare grips, and moderator from OS, so here is the chance to use em…

I like my Gen2 Burton…but, as it is a one of a kind…im careful with it.
It is Gas, has proper RE slide, is Full Auto etc etc… so it gets kid gloves handling…

It will be good to have a more rough n ready, knock around version on hand…

To get the kit to fit, i’ll need to knock off the front sight.
It cant be removed, so grind it off…then the moderator will sit home.

Have to drill some holes to mount the lower rail… or just araldite it on.

Different grip options are also available…

Full wood / blue emblem…

For the wrap around burton grips, ill have to grind the lanyard strap off…it doesn’t easily remove…

I’ll also have to get rid of the paint, and see how the metal outer barrel polishes up…

So, summary so far…

Still early days.

Performance is good, and upgradeable.

Feeding issues do occur at times…gels jam in the triangular top of the magazine.

This might lend itself to smaller gels…its early days yet.
I can try a few different brands.

Annoying when it happens…but may be fixable with other brands/ controlled growth.

Compared to earlier EBB’s… this wipes the floor with them.

For the price point, good value and build quality.

Parts / kits/ springs avail at M416 gelblasters…should be no probs getting them in.

Ability to morph into a few different genres.!

I think these will be popular…and other retailers may notice…ALA Uzi…

Get in quick.!

AND DONT TOUCH THE SAFETY…!!

That’ll be my line every time i get a new blaster…the show must go on.!!

All singing, all dancing.

Hey fellas look what I got and it’s not a new pair of shoes

No :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Not really up on my Robo-tech. :joy::joy:

Well, that escalated quickly…

inner barrel out, for a polish…
grinder for the front sight, and lanyard…

Barrel polishes up well…
