Mate… it’s NOT an Australian Burger unless it has Pineapple and Beetroot in it!
As long as it also involves bacon, onions and runny eggs in the mix as well!
If ya don’t have egg yolk dripping off ya elbows as you’re eating it…that’s just a shit sandwich!
Unfortunately I have a vitamin K health issue, so you can jam ya crappy soggy brown lettuce, tomato and whatever other Rabbit Food they put on it up ya Khyber!
Goodonya for the introduction mate.
Hopefully you have the testicular fortitude to put up with the shenanigans around here, but if you do, you’ll have a blast and fit in well with the rest of the Clowns in this Circus.
Hi, uk user here, just (afew days ago) picked up a gle 817 pistol on ali-express for a good price, comes with all accessories. Im aware this is at the lower end of the aeg guns, but all im after is something to mess about with in my back garden, so this should do fine (if its anythung like 90% of the reviews ive seen).
one of the biggest problems with it i can see is it’s range, what parts would i need to swap out to get more i think std it sits at 150ish fps (i have a we-tech gbb g17 gen 3 with around 300fps), not looking to make crazy gains just say it will hit a target at 100ft straight.
I’m guessing that electric G17 is pretty much like the old STD electric pistols we had a while back here in Oz.
If it is, about all you can do is swap out the piston spring for a slightly heavier one. Or put in a spacer or two to beef up compression. Just don’t go nuts, if it’s nylon geared you run the risk of stripping them.
Not much you can do if it’s a cup seal on the piston, which I’m betting it is. About the best you’ll probably get out of it is about 170 -180FPS with mods, and that’ll likely shorten it’s life span. Any higher and electric pistols tend to eat their own internals.
100 metres flat trajectory out of an electric pistol is pretty ambitious… I’d go so far as to say impossible. That’s AEG rifle range.
Thanks for the quick response, as far as im aware (from watching youtube, tiktoc etc) it has the same/similar internals to the jm-x2/5 pistol, so yes nylon gears (there is a metal gears upgrade).
I pretty much figured it was a run what you brung type deal.
100m lol my gbb doesnt even hit that (i dont think).
Electric pistols are never going to be high performers, fps wise, due to the limited size of the cylinder / barrel.
Even with SMG sized Elec blasters ( MP5-K), you struggle to get them past 220-230 fps, without extending the barrel.
The cheaper pistols are also made more cheaply, so fps increases do decrease lifespan. About 150-160 fps is the normal range.
One thing you could consider, is the new gen of Elec Blow back pistols.
MK416 sells some of these, with upgraded springs available.
This has metal gears, and a metal gearbox standard.
They quote 230 fps, with an upgraded spring.
I dont know how realistic these numbers are, only one way to find out…
These have been released in Australia, but i haven’t seen any reviews on them, or their upgrades , yet…
I’ll give you curisoty allright. But you might not like it
Didn’t I just sort your end of world problems out yesterday or do you want another go. Hot today so I only cost $150 an hr per consult A man’s got to live somehow
Well, from a brief return in Oct 2022 and an exit in Nov 2022 for medical reasons I must apologise for not being the type to say anything. My background in the Army had always taught us to suck it up and keep it to ourselves. We don’t need any bleeding hearts on our parade grounds. So this has always been my way.
I have spent two years fighting with cancer and so far I am as you might say…winning. I have one tumor that has to be removed from my chest and that will be in two months. So far I have followed every direction and kept my health and strength plugging along but as of now I feel completely overwhelmed and exhausted. Two months to go and no break out of any of the cancers that have been removed, so far!
It is good to see some familiar names and the names of those who have changed from the old GBF. I see the Sheep herder from SA’s Mallee, is still out making his dry jokes LoL and who said that man doesn’t drink. Still the same signature image as well, feels like a homecoming…LoL!
DocBob, they can take the blasters out of the man, but not the man out of the blasters eh? Does your daughter need anymore cams hehehe! I am so over the military now. I may have a couple left still. Might be my desert issues. Change it up a bit for her
I sent you a PM too mate, in case you are still confused about that one!
Well, it is really good to see the forum still rolls along and the international flavour is growing too! Still much for me to catch up on, but sadly I think I will get out of GB’s and stop paying this state for a licence to have toys that I cannot even display. I cannot travel far for a while yet and for some reason I seem to be getting older.
Next year Veterans Affairs wants to cut off all my payments and was kind enough to tell me that under this act I can apply for the old age pension. How nice of them. Good way to look after your soldiers after you have smashed them.
Still that is my battle, and I will also fight that too. A word to the young who think joining is great. You will be screwed by the government for every injury and broken bone you have no matter what you think or are told at the beginning. There is no retirement from this hell. Think twice before committing to any of the services.
On that note, Hi again and for Maiphut, it was Spartan in the old forum.
I remember you from the old forum. In fact I was only wondering the other day where some of the old members had gotten to and your name was one of the ones that popped into my head.
Sorry to hear about your health issues, man. But good to hear your winning. Can’t help much with the getting older bit… we all are!
Get stuck into the forum, have a laugh, reconnect with some old mates and enjoy it, brother. Nice to have you back.
Well hey my friend and welcome back. I wondered where you got to.
That’s a bugger, got a close friend going through cancer removal right now, might have to have another go round with Kemo next for her. Long time sister of my friend. But anyway.
I wish you a speedy recovery. I’m still here kicking up dust as no rain for a year.
Hey there old mate, definitely have NEVER forgotten about you and everything that you have done for me and my daughter Grace.
So happy to receive your personal message today, and now that we have both lost phone number details with our last couple of years of health issues, I’m SO looking forward to speaking with you again!
Thank you so much for getting back in touch with everyone here on this Forum, and I’m sure is a very good healing process to reingage with old friends.
Looking forward to catching up with you on the phone again soon, just like the good old days, and hopefully continue to see you keeping in contact with the old crew here.
