a question that intrigues me… is it entirely metallic? stock included?

Nah… receiver is metal.
Stock, and foregrip are plastic.

Quite tight though, no creaking etc…

It’s nylon where the real thing is polymer and metal where the real thing is metal.

I can vouch for the CYMA M16A1… I’ve had two, one left original, the other converted into an XM177 ( before Taidi offered them for sale ).

Solid blasters and apart from the Stanag magazine, fairly true to the original. Easy to get a hold of a short 20 rounder for display purposes though :+1:

Hey guys! Sorry for the unrelated post however im new here and it would allow me to start a new thread.

I after some help with a double bell m4ss (metal), Apparently there is no aftermarket nozzle with an oring for better sealing, I have tried the apache head/nozzle but its a confetti cannon.

Had anyone been able to find a nozzle that will fit this blaster?

I did… it’s a bit of a pain… and is two nozzles into one.

Ldt nozzle, with a jin Ming tip with a little trimmed off the back of the rubber tip to get the correct length.

You will also need something to fill the space between the nozzle and tip and there is a fair diameter difference. I used heatshrink.

You’d think there would be an aftermarket nozzle for these things by now, they are common, and their nozzles are commonly shit sealing.

Thanks mate ill look into it, I know its strange that it hasn’t been made yet, spoken to a few techs and they have all said there is nothing

Did it perform any better after?

It did, since the stock one was quite leaky having a seal did improve the fps consistency a lot.
I did it on my Double Bell PDW 808.
I did just two weeks ago convert it to an LDX gearbox, which is a great option for Double Bells.

With the Apache did you get the extended nozzle? The standard is too short for most DBs from what I’ve read.

And apaches need ultra hard gels… they smash anything softer. And not many tpieces suit them well and cause smash gels too.

Of course their tpiece works great with an apache but expensive, and doesn’t fit and or work with every gearbox and blaster combination without modifying.

I don’t rate them, tend to be more hassle than they are worth, but they do have their “use case scenarios”.

Example… my aps AK doing 35rps with a tappet plate will either feed OR seal in full auto… simply can’t do both and spare tappet plates are almost non existent… so it is getting an apache.

Or my slong gearbox, they don’t have the tappet travel for full size gels, again feed or seal not both… so apache is perfect for the solve.

Also an easy option for DSG builds, but can build DSG close to 50rps without them with the right gearbox, parts, and setup.

Generally a tappet plate works better for most builds and isn’t as picky with gels.

I wasn’t given an option for nozzle size, however it’s roughly 1.5mm to long for my standard t-piece, I did think of buying the upgrade TP but as a beginner its a rabbit hole i dont want to go down incase I spend hundreds and It still smashed gels.

I did notice the apache nozzle is a-lot thinner then my standard TP, leaving roughly a 1.5mm gap around, my guess is the nozzle it hitting the gels awkwardly and breaking them.

I thought of possibly grinding the Apache nozzle down 2mm and attaching my stock rubber on the end

Edit: I have been using the ultra hards from ihobby
