Noā¦ā¦ the beauty of NERF is the fact that the darts are of a hefty weight and have enough ātailā to replicate a real projectile to induce spin out of a good barrel attachment.
A foam/rubber ball would only drag their performance back down to the lowly Gelblaster standards

In practice the rubbery balls, often used as paintball training rounds, were far worse than gel ball accuracy.

Yeah, remember them from way back when I was playing paintballā¦ā¦ they were bad enough in a high powered marker, let alone an AEG!
