Hmmm…

The wood kit is a little light, for my liking…

Maybe, i’ll have to sort out a mixing formula, to replicate a brown bess stain…

That will sort it all out…
You know you got it right, when it turns green of F/f’s balcony…!!

Sand back, stain to whatever colour you like.

The advantage of using real wood. :+1:

Put your glasses on.

NY lit up  Interesting, men down bank of America. Maybe it’s Heat 2 but Val is dead.

 :man_shrugging:

while were doing grenade launchers…

An oldie but a goodie…

Gen 9 M4, + double barrel 11mm gel M203…

Plus, 2 tone .45 longslide…

Where’s the RE grips.?.?

Ah, the ol’ Bing Feng M203 jelly mould flinger, huh?

I actually sourced some of those big old wobbly 11mm gels to see if there was any point trying with the M203 DocBob so kindly gave me… there wasn’t, trust me. :joy:

I ended up resetting the slide all the way to the rear, filled the screw holes, dremeled out the front barrel cap to get rid of the googly eyed look, took out the twin inner barrels and shoved a squash ball down it’s throat to make it look as though it was loaded.

Here it is on a SCAR V2, which I reckon is a better candidate than the M16/M4s it was really designed for

It actually makes a very comfortable and fairly interesting looking grip… looks more horn on a SCAR MK17 though. :+1:

Now that back table looks better   :v: :+1:

Your back table, is at it again…!!
From yellowish, to green…!!

Scar is green on your table, but yellowy brownish inside…!!

Back table, sacred site , voodoo curse , is still active.!!
Then again, they saw ufo lights in the sky last night, so…

Edit: I just realised it’s 2 different SCAR’s…but it still looks it’s being ‘greened’ anyway…

Glad you added that… i was going to say before your edit, better go to SpecSavers, Beemer

The top photo’s a green SCAR V2… MK16. The bottom photo’s a SCAR H, MK17. :+1:

Notice how the black on the GL looks the same though… debunks the Harry Potter magic table theory somewhat. :joy:

Is the top scar, as green as it appears in the photo.?
Different shade, when not outside.?

This shade.?

It’s green.

Just looks darker because it’s in the shade. Of course I can apply filters to make it look like anything.

Trust me, it ain’t the table. :joy:

Finished up with the mp5 SD…

Cleaned it with isopropyl…it got rid of the WD-40…and also bleached the plastic to a whitish shade.!!

Definitely needed a repaint, after that.
It got a good coat of Dymark black last night.
That goes on well, and doesn’t splatter like rustoleum can.

Dried overnight, and clearcoat early this morning.

Its come up really well.

A light coating of clear-coat, before it ran out , i’ll grab another can and give it another coat.
It looks really good, and is no longer sticky or tacky to the touch.

I had to be careful before…you didnt want to put it down on anything material, as it would pick up fibres.

Now, its good to go…!!

Looking good there Beemer. Awesome :+1:

might have to pull it apart…

only doing 250 fps…probably old (original) o ring needs replacing.

This version has the metal gearbox, and longer barrel.
Might throw in a M110 spring, to see what difference it makes…

I don’t actually mind that shade of grey, I’d have one

@Maiphut don’t start :joy:

I’m going for Red

  :v: :+1:

Mp5 parts update.

I got ahold of a parted Mp5sd, for a song.

I now have a spare supp can, to be cleaned and painted.
Also barrel, t piece…but no mag or stock.
Trigger was missing…

Pulled it apart, and its a LDX Basic v2.0, with a ported cylinder.

Are these pretty good.?
Live up to the reputation.?

Should i throw in , into a JM MP5-k.?
I’ll need to get a trigger first, and some magazine terminals…they were cut off…as well as batt connector…

Could also use the receiver as a V2 rebuild test rig…

@RokSolid would be your man for trigger info for it. Maybe LDT Basic gearboxes use standard V2 triggers, dunno myself, haven’t had the chance to pull one down.

Get the right mag terminals and it should go straight into an LDT MP5K… not into a Jin Ming though, different mag terminals. All do-able though with a bit of lateral thinking.

Got the hammer out so that’s a good start  joke

Good reports on those and should be V2 standard. Swap the roller bearings out for plain bushes. Bit of rewiring to do.

if you come up with a gearbox replacement option for the JM MP5K, id sure like to hear about it … ive got two that are trashed :boom: :boom:

Sorry to hear that…
How long did they last.?

Lots of semi/ games.?

They should stock JM gearboxes as replacements…
At least cyma offer replacement boxes…
