Don’t know if the shop owner would want it back now he’s seen I’ve been sent some random second hand item, not a brand new product that could be resold.
If I get to keep this, do I bother ordering another GLACIER with the refund for the THIRD time, or just give up and start chopping this thing up?

Just got the return shipping label sent, but still a lot of fkn around my end to send it back
Looks like imma gonna be spending quite a bit of time at the Post Office next week.
Maybe I will just keep it to save the hassles of having to package it and getting it sent off, another few weeks for it to be shipped/inspected and then another few weeks to wait for the refund to hit my bank…then just to go try find another one and wait another couple of months for that to arrive and POTENTIALLY be another clusterfuck all over again. 
Only wanted this thing for the body/chassis anyrate, because everything else is getting removed and replaced with aftermarket parts and electronics as well… so might just unpack it again and start tearing it apart and cancelling the dispute because I really can’t be arsed going through this whole process for a third time. 
Cool isn’t it, especially when I get saluted because my Uncle was 1IC RAAF at the time, got the cocks tour. Even had American Apaches parked there. Was very cool, got to touch the seats and sticks and hundreds of buttons. But not too much. Hercs are very good people and bits movers.
F18’s are good, still parked in a shelter collecting dust, the Super Hornets E/F and Growlers are very cool. Like how we got them pre wired to swap to EW Growler if needed brand new out the Boeing factory.
F18’s are a great all rounder, flare insanley and easy on the pilot too with FBW.
@Friendly_Fire you might know how the USA F18 airframes don’t last as long as Australian ones, they get time up but talking to a pilot one day it is because of the USA aircraft carrier launches and retrievals puts big punishment on the airframe, stress cracks all that. That was interesting talking to a fellow about that.

I warned you Alix is a bit of a clusterfk at the moment and make sure you have 3rd party payment options locked down. As I got scammed by a fraudulent seller on my first attempt. All covered got refunded instantly NOT from Alix but Paypal in my case. AliX would not respond.
It’s up to you whether you return or not. If was me and where I am and how many friggin kilometers the nearest post box is… I would bust out the 9" and begin the magic and call it a day.
Leave a bad report for the seller for others to see in the future.

Haven’t had any issues with Alix yet, where I haven’t received an item or lost any money, and any foul play has been sorted pretty much on the spot without delay. 
Only received this late yesterday, yet already sorted out and shipping label provided… just can’t be arsed to tell you the truth!
Been getting stuff of Alix for many years and this is the first time I haven’t received what was described, but they were onto it as soon as I let them know.
So bit the bullet and cancelled my refund.
Honestly can’t be fckd anymore and have since removed all the stickers, tried to straighten out the busted mirrors and a couple of other things in preparation for pulling this whole thing apart and giving it a good clean up, along with starting to remove everything that is going to be modified with aftermarket parts to build what I wanted originally.
At least I still got to achieve my original “first mod” and removed the GLACIER sticker from the tailgate to give me access to paint/highlight the original old CHEVROLET stamping.
It’s now all in pieces and it’s not gonna know what’s hit it by the time I’m finished with it! 
Ah ha, that’s what I would have done. Because I can’t be fkd sometimes either depending, weigh your options up and go from there
