Offshoot RC Models/Drone Hobby Thread

Haha that sounds very similar.

Then you chuck a Director on top jumping up and down why are we not producing, engineer is shitting dacks.

I had some choice words, went something like… fuck you we are trying to work it out you fucking cunt, “you can’t speak to me like that because I am a director.”

Yes I fkn can when you speak to me like trash, you see that door mothafuckers, my hammers and spanners gets packed up and see ya 5K g and fuck you.

“Oh oh now don’t be like that”, well how about you fuck off in ya little AC office so I can get this shit sorted out thats blown apart ya fkhead. Yea you better get waddling cunt

All the above is PG18+

I had a good rappore with the engineers, they’d hate me coming into their climatate controlled staring at computers section, hey dude this shit don’t fit wtf have you done.

Get busy on that fucking computer thing because you have fucked up here and shit don’t fit together. Nekkminnit it’s out with the 9" crafting shit to fit together while the engineers oh we are modifying the drawings.

Too late, I already modified it with a 9" and see now it is producing.

Oh fuck why didn’t I think of that

Fun times, glad I quit the auto industry as it went ALL scrap. India bought 1 650T press the othe 50 went scrap bin, smelters for alloy, NC lathes with DC XYZ axis to machine the alloy wheels all scrapped.

I was maintenance work through christmas and even the 25th pull the ball screws out the NC Lathes and replace the 8mm-12mm ball bearings in the ball screw for Preventitive maintaince. There was a way you had to do those ball screws, don’t fuck it up  Very big took 3 people to get them out on the bench.

Anyway I’m rambling on. Good times and experience.

Never forget old Joe(deceased) giving an apprentice a dress down for smoking pot in the shop, took him out the front of the workshop and dressed him down, the fucker was in tears

Well my hunch was right about the Corsair arriving, as it’s been a long couple of months since it was ordered, but was the sacrifice to be able to purchase this Model for only 1/4 of the original price, so can’t complain.

They are a pretty massive package, so they actually come by Sea instead of Air shipping, hence the long wait.

All in good condition though and not beaten up like the majority of Air Shipping packages…

The Nav and Landing Lights along with the Folding Retractable Landing Gear is what sold me on this one over the smaller 800mm versions.

The Monster 28mm diameter Propeller is also a better scale on this Aircraft than the much smaller diameter Props on the 800mm versions that look nowhere near scale to the real F4U CORSAIR.

Everything screws together except for the tail sections and Antennas that have to be glued into place, so have done the Tail, but will leave the Antennas and other small scale parts off until I’ve finished installing all the Electronics and wiring.

Just waiting on a REFLEX V3 Gyro/Stabiliser System that’s in the Post to arrive before starting to lay out any of the Electronics,

…as can be quite challenging to get all the individual parts to fit neatly and securely into the relatively small amount of space in the Fuselage, along with keeping the wiring as tidy as possible to be able to still access the battery pack install/removal.:+1:

Well now that its finally arrived, I can head up to the Weir and flatten some battery packs with the RANGER, MAULE and the Speedboats. :raised_hands::grin:

That’s it I’m moving to Dubyay now. Wheels up in 5

Head first in to that lake you got there. :+1:

Was a stunning day out, and never had to drag the Kayak into the water even once!

I stayed till after Sunset and only packed up because it was getting rather chilly.

Got notice that the REFLEX V3 should be here Monday/Tuesday, but have loosely thrown the Corsair together just so I was able to bind the Transmitter and spend these couple of days setting up all the individual channels and switches in preparation for when the REFLEX arrives. :sunglasses:

Awesome, wish I was there looks fantastic.

Frost this morning here but that didn’t bother me as I had truck driving to be done and wool selling.

Come in cold again now so it’s fk’all Friday and I’ve signed off with a brew having a giggle reading all the posts I missed. Got the fire cranking too. I deserve it :+1:

I know I’ll get my RC plane going and fly my sorry arse over on it. Upstairs for thinking  :+1:

I was eyeing off a FMS 1700mm F4U  the other day.

Same ole story, slowly lower the CC and back away from the keyboard :joy:

All good things come to those that wait young Padawan  :+1:

Yes the FMS 1700 is a MUCH better Corsair than these ARROWS 1100 models, but to tell you the truth, I just wanted this as a beautiful Scale shelf display piece rather than an actual Flyer!

Even my sister commented that she knew exactly what I was getting delivered, as she remembers me as a kid watching Baa Baa Blacksheep on TV religiously…

… and locking myself in my room many times building plenty of the old Corsair Xmas Tree Plastic Hobby Kits!

Yours will be safely sitting in the box ready for the first opportunity that you get in your busy schedule to kick back and get into it. :+1:

It’s not like you don’t have enough Toys already! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

(PS: have since lubricated the wheels so they don’t squeak anymore!)

All I gotta do is remember to pack a spare Lipo I reckon I could make Dubyay. :joy:

Wave off the flight pattern is full Ghostrider, too bad. Request for fly by, denied, too bad you’re getting it anyway. God damn spilled my black swan

Was reading this…
The Unlikely Saga Of Venezuela’s F-16s

Set the R2D2’s on to them . Bet the Commander of the boat had them locked up trying to get confirmation from higher ups to fire, to not or go to jail do not get $200 straight to jail card

Hopefully you are getting some of this Rain mate?
After that beautiful day out at the Weir yesterday, it started raining about 3am this morning and is still going here at 2am almost 12 hours later!

It’s always good fun when the US Military Machine sells equipment to other Nations, only to be turned around and used against them! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

No nothing besides frost and why I am up at 330am kicking the fire in the guts. Frost yesterday morning too. Usually get bad frosts when drought conditions, but it’s september and this is very unusual.

I see the light rain heading my way looks to hit in about 2 hours, be light at best, will let you know. I’m kicking back getting bookwork and shite sorted and squared away seeing as I don’t have an office lady, got the tunes on all is good :+1:

Good to see you mixing business with pleasure, but always spins me out seeing you Eastern Staters online at this time of WA night/Early Eastern Mornings! :astonished:

Lost a sheep after shearing as it was laying in the morning sun. A fucking crow pecked it’s eyeballs out. Cunts of things they are as all they do it get the eyeball. The whole sheep is fucked then.

Apologies probably bit too much info but I had some choice words to say when I see that thursday morning you would have heard me from over there. Fuck them black cunts of birds. There goes another few hundred dollars

I’m not eastern, they are flooding and freezing. I’m piggy in the middle  :+1:

Look for the 100ft sand dunes

Somebody has to keep you westerners separate from east coast beemers as there will be trouble

Plus full Moon. As my Grandpa said to me, there’s a little bit of crazy in all of us. Depends how you deploy that crazy.

We know how Beemer does it, buys AKgelblaster AU out of stock  Oh well keeps an Aussie Rok employed haha

Anything East of Ceduna is “Eastern States” as far as us Sandgropers are concerned mate! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

As for the Crows and Sheep, no need to apologise, been there/seen that many a time. :pensive:

As we both know, nature don’t fuck around, it’s survival of the fittest at the core no matter how nasty it gets.

Cheers, bit like my standard Commo, don’t need the clutch in certain situations rev match and snap another gear.

Only the fit will survive. Like I was talking to a 98 year old life long local farmer that his Dad started off in the late 1800’s that the 98yo his son and grandson who is my age is running currently. He has never seen it this bad. Now if that doesn’t say something and ring alarm bells then what can.

I can see it from first week of January as I pre plan the year out. I shut the books and threw it over my shoulder, ah fuck hang on we are in for a bumpy ride as I had to self train to read the weather.

Bom get’s it wrong all the time but how come I can see it easily. It is my lively hood. BOM says rain, I look at the sky and sun is shining. It’s been skipping down through Adelaide and coming back up in to Melbourne.

Western Vic an hour away(as I drive fucking fast) I can be there is copping the drought too, big trouble, we are all in it. All of us, I am NOT alone and woas me.

I fight and will get it done, made that decision in January this year. I never give up. Not after what I have done. Enjoy a lamb chop and not from Colesworths.

Want one gimme a ring I do private sales fully above board and comply with code and practice as we have to do. Not some backyard hippy, I have licences and well trained.

Ok rant off :joy:

Oh but wait one more…

When I went to the RRT hay donation pick up in the truck. Loaded up with 4.8T of hay near max 5t for my lil truck.

This brand new 79 Landcruiser with trailer pulled out in front of me without looking and cut me off with 6 big squares on board at 600kg’s each.

Now do the math on that. That hippy could not pull 30klm/hr on the flat straight highway it was that bad my 1984 International I said fuck this and overtook the idiot fully loaded easily with a B dub up my clacker too we both went gave me the signals flick of thanks.

Unbelievable. I spooled up the Inter, not hard the idiot could only do 30k. Oh well I shook my head haha

Then when I was in the staging area in the middle of a country town talking to one of the directors. Oh here it is he says, horse and cart clip clopping down the main road, took 3 days to get 100klms. The director said, oh well guess he got nothing better to do  I had a big laugh at that. Top people.

@DocBob get the war drums out, it’s breaking up again.

3 drops of rain, again.

Are you doing that rain dance right

Getting fk all your honour thus far. Oh well get what I am given. Time for a beer  Drown my sorrows

Those are some awesome stories mate, thanks for sharing. :hugs::sunglasses::australia:
