Wouldn’t surprise me one bit mate, not at all lol
Yeah they are all V2 boxes, just different versions.
There is a retro arms sr25 box.
Bumping an old thread. What’s the current feel on these things for larger outdoor fields? Anyone stuck an optac hop up barrel in one?
Dr ROK-Tor has this in his hands now…
But…
Very busy time of year, and add in an incoming AK gelblaster shipment….
I’ve said no rush, no pressure…deal with everything else first.
But, reviews should be forthcoming, in the fullness of time…
Had some cash burning a hole in my wallet. Ordered the E&C G28, M120 Aztech spring and a Optac hop up barrel. Not planning to pull the gearbox apart (initially) so will fit these up and see how she rips.
Well… I have filmed the review… getting the video together still, probably be next Friday for a Review on the HK417 M110-A1, which @BME has very graciously allowed me to do a review on.
Hoping to get the upgrade job underway tomorrow, with a hopup barrel, motor, gears, and depending on how the stock piston and piston head looks possibly them too.
It did get a average of 330fps, though a little inconsistent likely due to volume being a little off, I will know more once I get in and measure piston travel more accurately.
I would pick the G28 as a personal favourite… however after using BME’s M110A1, and seeing one for a decent deal I may have one coming second hand with a few mags… so there will be two to tinker with!
And yes I am spreading my time thin for the next few weeks, playing the waiting game as the next shipment is due in the next week ![]()
I don’t ask for much…
Just 450+fps, and half inch groupings at 65 yards…
Simples, right.?.?

Would be nice… easy to acheive with the other blasters though… the dark side. ![]()

Will definitely be keen to see the take down. I’m stuck interstate for two weeks. When I get home I’ll be opening a brand new G28, then upgrading my M4 value line and G36c. Happy days!
