R.E. Wesker...(Or.. Bad boys,Bad boys.. watcha gonna Glue..?)

The original has a add on nozzle, which the Supp attaches onto, and is completely immobolised. If i could grab one of those, i would, bit i cant find then anywhere. They go onto Flat bottomed DB berettas. The nozzle also “chunked up” underneath the slide, allowed no daylight through, and made the whole blaster " one piece".

We couldn’t replicate that, so did the best that was available.
@Friendly_Fire donated a SKD lower guard, to chunk it up a bit, attached a rail under it, then placed the torch on. It was a bit loose, so he filled it with High density foam.

Quite solid, and looks good…

The suppressor just screws on, with a recessed thread, in the Supp…

Spaced properly, so its nice ‘n’ tight, it the correct alignment position.

The torch is super bright…1250 lumens…you cant even see the green laser dot on the post here…

You cant line the sights up with anything, but that is what the laser is for…
We’ll see how accurate i can get it dialed in…

Looks good, even with the Supp off…

Interesting little exercise, the original tokyo mauri Wesker, is all plastic…!!

At least this is a full metal blaster.!

Thanks again to @Friendly_Fire for all the help…!!

You’re very welcome, matey. :wink: glad you’re happy with the result.

Man, I’m going to be seeing Burtons and Weskers in my sleep… :joy:

Kylie Minogue would be better :joy: :+1:

Like when they carried her into the Commonwealth Games years ago on a Malibu surfboard and the camera was pointed right up her clacker??

That image was lasered into my memory for life… :joy:

It’s still a good looking clacker today :joy:

but Dani tastes great :drooling_face::joy::rofl:

I dunno if you blokes would remember the joke :rofl::joy:.

Why did Kylie Minogue turn lesbian??

Cuz Dani tastes great :joy::rofl:

Yeah, but Kylie was on all fours perched on a longboard wearing a mini skirt. :rofl:

These are a few of my favourite things… three of 'em, anyhoo. :drooling_face:

This is the way :rofl::joy::joy::rofl:

Ok…

Not a perfect job, tried a bit too hard, to do " 1 Thick Coat".

Got a bit of build up, and roughness…and still a few voids.

I reckon not really worth stripping it all back, position and thickness about right…just freehanded it with tape.

I might let it set overnight, get the tiniest bit of very light sanding paper, and just breathe it, on the ruff stuff, to flatten the rough corrugations.

Maybe also get a silver paint pen, to touch up the voids…

Gotta stop being so OCD…!! :rofl: :rofl:

Overall, the look is pretty right…i was thinking about removing the silver on the lower part of the front, to just leave the “upper hood” silver.

But , i dont mind the way it looks , and i reckon the potential for stuffing it is pretty big…stop being so OCD…!! :rofl: :rofl:

Overall, pretty happy with the result, the silver trim dresses it up nicely…

You could use some chrome pin striping tape instead of paint.

Where do i get that from.?
Hobby store.?

And, can you “wet set it” , like decals.?

ie apply soapy water to both surfaced, slide tape around into final position, then squege water out.?

That method works well, for fiddly stickers.( but im sure you know that :grin:)

Tape is adhesive. To set a decal properly you probably need some setting / forming solution like Micro Sol. Just checked the decal stock and only got 10mm wide silver stripes

By curious coincidence…the width I eyeballed and painted…is 3mm…!!

Looks good. :+1: much more like the ridgy didge Wesker.

If you do want to rub it back I wouldn’t use emery paper on it, too aggressive. Maybe mask it off again and lightly rub with fine steel wool or scotchbrite. You might find that doing that smooths off the silver enough for you to be happy with it without repainting. :man_shrugging:
