The Black John Holmes…

9mm…

Across the eye…!!

Seriously though they were about $1200 packed in an AA IMI box. I wanted one but Dad said no 9mm will do fa to goats. Ended up with a stainless rancher Mini14 for $800. Now that rocked, never jammed once and I put several thousand rounds through it. Yea not the most accurate thing on the block, AR’s were $2.5k second hand and very north for new.

Good experience though back in the day loved it.

Look at me I sound like my deceased Grandpa. I aint dat old

takes a pounding to make those quality “pursuit” rims. I had those

Worth a penny these days as collectible.

I should have bought pallets of them and I’d be rich  Were only $20 ea out the factory door to Holden then they slap their bit on top.

When the fat Bommodore VT came in the police special runs went away. Parts and Accessory runs only. We upgraded to mig welding instead of extra spot welding to accomodate the heavier vehicle, changed to higher grade steel so that they would fly through a 700kg each load rating which covered the cops needs as well. Less changeovers and sell them cheaper because of that.

Got to watch out some knuckleheads spray silver paint on a standard commodore rim and call it a Cop rim. When I look at it, no it’s not haha An easy way to tell is look on the back, four flanges must have three spot welds per flange, or it’s mig welded on. That is a cop rim.

Had a few BT1 Ex Pursuit VL Commonwhores over the years…in fact my bro in law still has his, but looking a bit different after he came and see me to help him build it into an 05 Brock replica race car!

The 5.0ltr Autos were great fun, but the very best was the last of the RB30 TURBO Autos… they went like a cut cat! :astonished:

From these I ended up with quite a pile of Pursuit rims in the shed, but they are all gone except for a mate that has some sets for his couple of FJ Holdens :sunglasses:

The stock width and offset are perfect for the FX/FJ’s when fit up with the alloy adaptors :ok_hand:

They varied a bit in the VL and VN days but were all 15", extra welds and higher grade steel. It had to withstand driving 80klm/hr straight over a 150mm gutter was the Police requirement. For chasing crims obviously.

Government not listening to it’s people and lying about its actions…is anyone actually shocked by this?

No, I watch a bit of her.

What the gov did is fkn communist. With that knobhead polly over there, he did it before he’ll do it again.

Found this online somewhere… obviously US based.

Cheap! I’d buy that for a dollar!

Bloody Grease gun same price as a .303 Browning?

Who would get the cheap ass, pressed tin can Greaser over a full size Browning :astonished:

Fair enough that it’s only an Aircraft gun, but I know which one I’d prefer hanging on the wall!

I’d go for the BAR, it’s got wood on it

Quirky lil thing that is highly collectable for the originals.

PSA are going to do well acquiring H&R and Nodak Spud making faithful retro guns.

Interesting hearing the spring recoil. Sounds like a bucket of bolts

Yeah…

I think our taste in Youtube subs is pretty much the same

Go the bullpups! :joy:

Sounds like a lot of the WELL’s gearboxes I had OOTB :astonished::joy:

They left bits out for the WA versions to save on transport

Hmm never heard of this one before. Pretty cool.
