Anyone used an Evanix before?
Bit more power and shot capacity before refilling than the crossman at a cost of course.

7ft lbs ain’t much energy, for the crossman.
It might shoot rats, at close distance , but that’s about it.

I’ve used the Benjamin marauder .25.
That’s a good bolt pcp, good power (about 50 ft lbs) and good accuracy.

You do get sick of pumping though…and they’re heavy.

Depending on what you’re doing, a normal .22 with subsonic rounds is lighter, accurate and decent stopping power for close, small game…

If you wanna plink tin cans with a .177 semi auto, the crossman would be fine for that.

No idea about CO2 powered rifles, all I know is that my Licensed Eradicater mate has a couple of Air Rifles in his selection of different tools that are both HPA powered, have multi shot rotating mags, Air Pressure Gauges in the Reciever and really good quality Scopes mounted to them, even some NV units for plinking critters in the dark around farm sheds and houses.

He said CO2 was too unstable and unpredictable in different temperatures, which you get a lot of working through the day and night, which makes it extremely difficult to keep a good sighting setup with such vast differences in MOA. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

In other words, if you are looking for an accurate Air Rifle, keep away from CO2 powered stuff and stick with the HPA powered version out of the two.

But if you are just looking to randomly chuck some lead around at some old beer cartons, yeah, that CO2 EVANIX will do the job perfectly!

I just sold our air rifle that the kids first started to shoot on. Hasn’t been used in 3 or 4 years.
Daughter isn’t a big shooter but she’s onto 22LR. Son has his own .243 but has shot some 308 and 12g.

Thinking I’d like a lever in 357/38 spesh

Go for it. I have a Rossi stainless 16" .357. It is wicked fun. :+1:

Second the Rossi. Have a 16" and looking at 20" stainless. Both in 357/38. We can even use it on the pistol range with 38sp

I like the short trapper rossis in stainless. The smaller profile would be great for the kids and Mrs. Jug

Roger that, the kids and females love it :+1: Small, light, and not a heavy round. Accuracy is great.

Interesting… kind of makes me want to get one of these MK23 carbine kits.

Feels like that video should come with a NSFW warning :warning::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Again I would argue that history would have been much different if the Allies in Europe were given OWEN Guns!
