Beemer and I were thinking the same thing, Doc.

ABF will look at it as a normal grip , x-ray will not show the pattern on the grip. I also got a black World War 2 German army holster (replica) for the Luger

its pretty silly we have to worry about ww2 images…

being displayed, in context, on ww2 replica items…

sigh…

i think there was something about exemptions for ww2 collector stuff…ask squiddy about his gas masks…

x-force and tac-edge tried to convert the Luger but couldn’t make the magazine work for gels

Did you see somewhere in Melbourne was petitioning to rename a street “Adolph st” because it’s too close to “adolf” for their liking?

Fkn joke, it’s not even spelt the same

Tried to convert a luger… they are famously awful and barely functional in airsoft world… so you’d think they’d fit into gel!

Not enough room for gels in the mags from memory was they main issue.

The three amigos…
Small / medium / large…

From top…AW, laser clicker, denix…

The AW has fake wooden grips, filled out with sealant to firm it up, and give them weight.

Each set of grips, is JUST different enough, not to fit on the others…

Denix has real wood grips.

The black grips came std, with the AW luger.

The smooth wood grips fit the AW, and are from o/seas.

The AW has no barrel, cycles on green gas, toggles but is just a clicker…

The mag is tiny , has a miniscule gas reserve, and the original fired 4.5mm bb’s overseas…

Like Rok said, it barely worked, with all those compromises in A/soft world.

Gel is too big to fit in the mag…

I did paint the red safety dot, into the side of the denix, for an extra detail…

What about with controlled grows?

If that worked surely they’d sting a bit more :joy:

Of course only @BME could reply with MULTIPLE replicas of a pistol that the average person has never seen!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

What can i say…

They fell off the back of a truck…!!

I don’t understand the whole WWII issue. I was at the gunshow in Beenleigh last October and saw German WWII stuff for sale, yet I thought all this was banned Australia-wide from Jan 8th 2024?

Jamie explaining the ban

Only allowed a personal collection, nothing to be publically displayed and the items cannot be purchased or sold (i.e. no profit-making allowed)

??

The AW Custom/WE Tech (top one) is the only truly realistic one there BME. The other two are kind of close but the quality, fit and finish are nowhere near as good.

It could be a case of…no one has been charged yet.

Im only guessing, but while it is illegal, officials might be turning a blind eye to “low level collector stuff”/

Arresting and charging collectors, would be nuts.
Used for hate speech, on the other hand…

People are just being cautious… mno one wants to be the first person charged…

Yeah, the AW is the best finished replica.

The denix was my first, had that years ago.
The other laser shell ejector, was just a cheap, curiosity item…

Pity the AW doesnt work…

My most recent purchase was a 35cm blue polished inner barrel, a 1.18mm and 1.38mm spring…

Managed to email Dan from ausgel before they were sent out asking to be invoiced for a wells V2 sector delay chip to be added to my order and being the legend he is, he threw it in for free…

May only be a $1.50 part, but he didn’t have to do that, but he did.

Top bloke :call_me_hand:t2:

That would be very satisfying. I have 2x Spanish FR8 Mausers in 7.62 and they will never get to that accuracy. They were my silenced thumpers for pigs and fun at watermelon targets. Used 180gr round nose(best accuracy at the powder weight I was using) and 220gr boat tails that I would seat backwards in the case using Trailboss for my subsonic loads. It was considered rude in NZ to not use a silencer if your property was in a reasonable hearing range of your neighbour. Here it seems to be a cardinal sin to even say the word "Sil***er. I do miss reloading.

While teaching my son to reload his .243 recently, we stumbled upon a nice recipe using a reduced load of AR2206 and speer 100gn BTSP. Shot 5 rounds into .35 inch at 100! Never done that before. Great feeling

Get out of town. I got one of those haha, snap. 18" brl with all the Cetme bits on it?

It’s is in very good condition and groups as good as I can see with the peep sights.

Boy does it boot and bark :joy:
