Resident Evil Gelblasters...( or, Gotta Getta Beretta..!)

There ya go beemer @BME

On the video, the cylinder swing arm is protruding…!!

Great advertising…!:rofl::rofl:

There is a guy on eBay, who sells these things locally.
Getting some other RE models…B1934, Mathilda and Graces Sig…

Let’s see…

Good Eviling.

Got a new 3d print version of the requiem.
There must be a few different files floating around, in 3-d world.
Thankfully, they are all cheap…!!

This one has a pivoting cylinder, removable “bullets” , and a themed stand.
The newer (fully upgraded game model version) has a moving trigger and hammer.

This one does not.

So, the size difference…

the real RSH pistol is 36 cm long.

My first version, was oversized at 42 cm.
it did feel H U G E . This effect is not out of place, however, for this model.

This newer version, is correct at 36 cm long.

However, its worth mentioning the grips.

The big model, has you spreading your fingers to the correct postion, and feels wide.

The correct model, actually fells small on the grips…compressed fingers around the grip grooves.

When you look at the python, you can see why…more avail real estate on the python grip, and behind the trigger area.

Given you can scale printing of 3d stuff, i reckon a 92% scale of the original model would be good.

just a bit bigger than the original, with wider feeling grips…

Comparo time…

Denix 6’ colt python on the bottom, new model in the middle, oversize on top.

I was going to repaint the middle model…it came in a slight blue hued silver.

But, i reckon i’ll leave it.

The top one is Tamiya gun metal and smoke… a bit darker.

Tamiya Light gun metal is lighter silver, so i might give that a trial spray, and see how it looks.

The display stand is a good fit, and the text can be removed if so desired.

This lighting was terrible, yellow light only.
I’ll take some other piccies under better lighting…

That’s sooo over the top for a hand cannon.

And here was me thinking Hellboy’s Samaritan was a big boy!

May have a few other printed RE pieces coming…

Removable mag and moving slide, on the Beretta M1934…!!

The sig will get a light gunmetal repaint…

Interesting , and complicated build, for a 3d jobby…

Looks pretty good…!

Off to the dining room now…

Today was an Axellent Day…

Got the 3d print, and the real steel version…

Get pinged with that steel one and my next job for you will be baking a cake with a file in it, Beemer.

You need papework, B709’s , serial numbers etc etc to import a nylon gearbox…

but sure… bring in a axe… no problemo…

I swear, i’ll be a good boy, and only use it for Govt approved purposes…

Y’know, fishing, camping, firewood… and destroying CGT on the federal budget…!!

Real steel axe is no problemo…

you can buy one over the counter at bunnings…

They ban the throwing hatchets etc… this is a normal ( albeit dressed up) axe.

Besides, they sell it blunt…

And, tactical axes are avail for sale in Qld already…

These are already avail in qld, no wait…Melbourne…!! …

Anyway, M1934 is a funky little unit.
Moving slide, hammer, removable mag, working mag catch…

pretty cool for a 3d print.

The mag went from this…

… to that.!

Primer, tape, gold paint / grey paint.

Check one in the spout…

The plastic axe is around 18 inches…and lethal to Lego spacemen…!!

The metal one is around 13 inches.

I think the “game size” is closer to the 18 inches…they would have scaled it down to cut material production costs…

A bit of sanding and painting for the plastic axe…it was all black.

Primer, light gun metal, flat clear then a very light coat of smoke.

It looks alright to me.!!

Grace’s Sig is actually a bit chunky width wise…

I can only assume they did the original scan from a a/soft version…gas mag etc…

it needs a bit of sanding…

That halfbreed blades has some interesting advetising…

Have they played RE …??

Leons Axe, and a alligator snapper with a red dot…!!

All in Melb…!!

I wonder if Brad will demonstrate the P320’s , by dropping them, 2morrow.?.?

Can do just as much damage with a blunt axe it just takes more swings :joy:

My 3d printer guy, has come through again…

I’d better get better, at filling, sanding and painting…!!

Fully kitted VP 70…

Its his 3d printed kit, to go on his TM wesker model.

I didnt take any photos, but…

Quality is top notch.
The 3d print finish is phenonemal, and the locking system works perfectly.

Its much better quality than the crappy quality print i received from overseas…
which needed sanding, and didn’t secure onto the pistol properly.

This has the supp, the L Nozzle, the faux torch, and through pin retention.

It grabs securely onto the bottom rails, via a removable latching notch.

All for $60. Great value.

The "original "model has brown RE grips…but these are interchangeable with the TM stars grips.

The WEtech stars grips are shaped a bit differently, and dont quite fit properly…

More pics in a few days, when im back…
