So , the base for the carbine clatter, is actually pretty close.

The base unit is a fantastic unit.
Nylon, with lots of metal, it feels sturdy and solid.
Universal stock mounting capability, so ill see what i can find that is a good match.
Rok reckons they need a tickle out of the box, so that was tended to.
Once again, i’ll leave the full upgrade story for Roks vid, if he so desires.
Basic mods include Bushes, SHS 18:1 Gears, 40k brushless motor, new piston and head, and nozzle.

i must admit, i’m a little confused with all the aiming bling.
going from rearward to forwards, it looks like…
Magnifier ( in isolation)
Red dot on a riser ( Offset mount.? Not aligned with magnifier?? Huh.?)
Torch on the side…and…
??? whats on the the very front, above the barrel, with the button on the rear?
Im not quite sure whats up the front…?
And, does the magnifier have a coupled red dot built in to that unit.?

I picked up two spare mags from akgelblaster as the only ones I could find locally were black and I wanted tan to match the tan slr v5 I picked up from rok, he also gave mine a slap and tickle and mine has the same results on the chrono, between 340 and 360fps
From a quick search it appears you are correct, cybertrigger is out of stock of the long mags for the jingji SLR. Also out of stock at armoured heaven and command elite hobbies. I was unable to find any anywhere else local
The ones I ordered came through without issue so you should be fine, they also have the sten MK2 mags available
However I did apply for b709a’s to help ensure they would arrive without issue

I suspect many have, it is one of my older and most viewed by watch time videos!
Worth noting, my maths on the volume was a bit off on this video, and a inner barrel of around 300mm is best, not 275mm.
BME’s upgrade is very similar, though having 18:1 SHS gears short two teeth and a 40k Solink.
Also the addition of a new single piece POM tpiece and hopup barrel that is all the way to the end of the suppressor makes having a hopup and the ability to just remove the end of the suppressor to adjust it far easier.
I also use a different piston and piston head that is super light in the newer builds.
It has better flow and less vacuum, and still a good seal; but being lighter is good for protecting the cast gearbox even though I am yet to hear of one cracking- nice work JingJi!
BME’s is basically the same as my personal SLR B56, though mine is short 3 teeth to bring the FPS down to a more field legal level, and my outer and inner barrel is extended slightly for experimental reasons, but it does help the consistency a bit.
They are a bit lacking out of the box, the stock nozzle has got to go. Period. That thing is leaky AF. And the barrel with holes drilled in it too. And of course while I am in there why not radius and do some AOE padding and orings.
Shadow’s got a awesome bang for buck upgrade:
Nozzle, orings, tpiece and hopup barrel, spring, aoe pad and radius, light tweak to shimming. Value plus for maximum improvement for minimal spend they are wild in this form.
BME’s and mine got that, with piston and head, bushes, SHS gears and brushless. There is a good gap between spend, but god damn these things come alive well with all that.
The gears and bearings are pretty good, as is the piston; so he could always add a motor at some point and try his luck on the cast gear lottery. Of course, I trust SHS gears and bushes more so if doing a motor I do recommend that but it isn’t essential.
I recommend the standard OG JinJi SLR mags, they seem to feed better at higher speeds, but the long ones have a vibe and capacity, and work fine for standard ROF.
I too have had success getting mags from AKgelblaster still, but as always your mileage may vary.
I think I have a video of it, just to show the updates to what I do to these things now vs then, sort of a comparison “update” video more than a full upgrade work video. Give me a few weeks and I will get it edited and uploaded.
I try to keep the videos for the juicy details, but if I am asked in the forum posts or it comes up, I’m always happy to divulge

I’ll be the first to admit I am not a “geardo”, but I do appreciate the knowledge from those that are.
So the magnifiers you’ve likely seen the pop to the side, that one is a newer design that pops up and down.
Flip To Centre (FTC) mount.
Not sure if it can be had stand alone or in a pair with the magnifier and sight… They are relatively new but certainly trendy.
No idea where to look for them, I’ll ask a few peeps and see if they know.

Just about all magnifiers flip to give you the option of 1:1 or magnified zoom.
Personally I prefer LPVOs if that’s the functionality you’re after. But that’s a personal choice.
That doodad on the upper rail at the front looks like a different design PEQ box to me…
But whadda I know?
BTW, X Force have Eotech G43 flip magnifiers in stock… black’s sold out but they have red or pink… exxie at $160 but if your budget allows…

WAT have the same one for $250.
www.truevisiontactical.com.au has some pretty decent LPVOs for a reasonable price, and some mounts for them too.
I like both, though the magnifier and dot sight is easier to view through at magnified setting… I never really use the magnification though because it is gel, but it does increase style points
