Switch on LHS actually works well.
Its near where you grip the receiver, and left thumb can find it easily.
Even when i get the torch button, LHS torch still works.
If you run your left hand forward, your index finger lands on it very easily…
Its mostly about aesthetics, anyway…
Having said that, a decent torch.
I believe the 600 lumen claim.
Not bad, for a $35 torch.
That can run off rechargeable batteries.
Looks awesome but too much going on for me or my builds

Stopping does not extend to 3d prints, or other related interests.
OCD is transferrable, to work related activities.

This is the before pic.
It has an interesting stencil for painting.
It “clips onto” each side, covering the slide, and exposing the area to be painted.
It works ok…but…not perfect.
It gets the outline on there, but the edges are not sharp.
As with any spray paint, there is some overspray and “blurring”.
Not a straight line, between black and silver…a bit of greying.
you can see the silver lines, on the black bits, and the greying of the black areas. Lines not sharp.
Solution…
Fine paint brush, and bottle colours.
What shade of black, best matches.?.?
And the best silver to use.??

Anyway, repainting time…
Paint log…
Silver spray Tamiya PS 48.
Touch up silver…X11 chrome silver.
Touch up black…XF-1 black acrylic…blends with frame well.
Tape it up for straight finish lines.
Brush touch the silver, to get it popping.
brush the in between blacks, to sharpen contrast, and remove silver overruns.
This one came pre assembled.
Normally, i’d pull it down, sand etc…but…
the slide retention pin is super tight.
He must have forced it in.
It even resists tapping out… im worried for the force required, it’ll break.
so, i left it unsanded.
The slide would benefit from a good sand.
prints are cheap… i may get another in pieces to sand / assemble / airbrush paint for a better finish, at my leisure…
Anyway…came up pretty well.
Not perfect, but pretty good.
The chinese kit guy, has metallic stickers, sitting on a metal slide, so they would be way superior finish…
I just brush painted the trigger , mag release in place, as i couldn’t pull it down. They came up pretty well.
High tech red dot system…!!

The red dot is removeable, and iron sights can go on.
They have filament sized holes, for faux fibre optic sights…

It also has the flat, black moderator.
They just pull straight off, and friction fit.
here you can see the " before" paint…
All in all, a striking little piece.
The silver highlights really get it popping…!!
Fingers crossed, for the kit version…!
Hopefully WE tech will release proper airsoft/gel versions of these one day…
