Resident Evil Gelblasters...( or, Gotta Getta Beretta..!)

" I aint got TIME to Bleed…!!"

Thats because you’re already dead…!!

Two Tone, Two timer…

This one had a bubble in the screen protector.

I contacted him, and he gave me a partial refund ( like, 1/3).
I then mucked around, pulled the protector off , hit it with soapy water and got it back on properly…!!

Score…!!

When your mood is a bit darker…

The map of the world, has real time updates, as the infection spreads…!!

Light test, for the Clatter…

This was the $20 ebay cheapy.
Yes… its crap.

Light aint great, and the press bar is clunky.
It feels weird, and button pushes do funny things.

Each press cycles thru the next setting… lite, bright, strobe , SOS etc…
and, the touch bar is very clunky feeling, and imprecise. Yuck.

The $30 etsy torch is much better.
Longer and slender, it looks better and has a small activation button and lead.

It only has a push bar, for activation.
The ebay cheapy has a changeable cap, with a button push rear end.

Still, this cabling is smaller and lighter…
Either way , i need some rail mounts, to fit it in the right place…

Nearly there…

I did try to warn you about that torch, Beemer

For what it’s worth, the screw on end cap should have two different sized threads… so you can use that end cap and pressure switch on a better torch as long as the thread’s match.

You’re still stuck with the horrid pressure switch though. Which is the worst aspect of the whole thing. :person_shrugging:

Ask me how I know.

Funny thing is…

Ebay torch…cheaper…local, in syd.
Took the longest time, to get here…!!
:scream:  :face_with_peeking_eye:
It runs off 3.7v Lion.

Etsy… got here quicker, from china.
$35.

Wat sell for $120-ish.

It runs off 2x Cr123.

Ive got some extra rechargables at my unit, ill grab them next time.
Im sure its a better light…but no end cap on that one.
I would have preferred a rear button switch, and not worry about the touch pad…

Different batteries…different sized threads.
Can’t use the ebay cap, on the Etsy one…

RPM had them for $55.00 - but sold out

That’s a “reasonable premium”.

If you wanted one, on the day…and didn’t want to wait / roll the dice …

Picked mine up on a game night at Blacksite

Good torch.?
600 lumens, they reckon…

Looks like its pressure on only, and no “constant on” switch.

It comes with pressure pad momentary switch on cable and push on/ push off button. They are replacement caps. Powered by 2 x CR123. A momentary button would increase options

Where would you get a replacement cap.?

i’d prefer, just a on/ off switch, at the rear…

mine only had the one pressure pad switch, no button only end cap…

Mine came with an on/off switch button on rear

I know Haha so fnny there Beemer is f him haha I ll sidgn myself out riighgh Hopefdully I gete awaway get away with that or be told off haha

Something i said.?.?!

Had a look for Rail Scales.
On the model, but not readily avail here in OZ.

Ebay , here we come…

12cm might be a bit too long, given the bulbous protruding nature of the supp.

Still, can cut down to size, ala grinder special and make it fit…

or these… a bit smaller…

Righto…torch time.

Had the small plastic Pic rail… time to attach it.
The old “retaining screw under and turn” jobby…

Original positioning had 2 screw retention…but rail/ torch a bit too far forward for my liking.
So, mount it in rearwards, with 1 screw only for retention…

Rail rearward, torch rearward…

Got it pretty tight.
Had to grind down the screws / rear of rail to remove excess material, to allow flat seating.

Pretty happy where torch is now…about flush with flared base of Supp…
Found a compatible push rear push button switch, on Aliexpress…on its way…

getting pretty Tacti-cool…!!
Just need to add a cigarette lighter, for the BBQ…!!

Got a different riser coming, from Ali as well…
Taller, a bit angled forward, “more hollow”… like above.

I got this from Aliexpress

i found the rear end cap.
$15.

I’d prefer that, for mine.
Just for simplicity, and not to have running wires/ pressure pad that falls off.

You can always go back to the pressure pad, if you want to…

i would have thought it would have shipped with a end cap…but…

they wanna sell you extras.

Light on the right only suits left hand shooter. Mount on left if you are right handed shooter to work switch with left hand grip

Yeah… i get that…

But, im just going for " game accurate"

So, RHS it is.

Funnily enough, if you mount RHS, with the pressure pad, the wire curls over to the LHS.

This allows Rite hand for grip / trigger, and Left Hand to acctuate pressure pad.

Which mounts just forward of the receiver.
Photo later, but it works well…
